Of course if you have nothing to hide then it shouldn't be too much of a problem but Its not a 100% accurate way to tell if someone is lying or not

And the main reason why God doesn't stop guys, like this, most of the time, is because of free will. Free will means you can do whatever you want, but the consequences are yours to deal with. I don't have all the answers in life, but He does. I know the show may be fake, but circumstances like this does happen in real life. The show mostly just tells you to keep an eye on people you love to keep them safe. I choose to believe in God, because it's my choice. If you want to believe in Him, that's fine. If not, then it's your life, not mine.

Well some testers actually ask other questions that they know the answer to so that they have a reference point for when you’re telling the truth. Like, “Are you sitting down?” Or “Are your shoes tied?” They ask basic questions that have nothing to do with what the lie detector test is for first. So even if you’re nervous, they have a base reference point. But then again idk if everyone does that. And it is a reality TV show so I guess anything could be made up.

I remember watching this episode when it aired, and I remember breaking down into tears as soon as the guy got extreme deception. This was one of the episodes that filled me with rage and sorrow, and I hope to God that child is doing okay
