  • In this video, we will have quick look on using the INPAINT and CLONE tools to remove objects or subjects in Affinity Photo. I will share some tips and trick for achieving perfection. This is the introduction video for the object removal and cleanup tool series in Affinity.

    For non-destructive use of the inpaint brush, I usually create a new layer on top of the layer I want to correct and then select "Current Layer and below" from the drop-down of the toolbar. This way, the corrections will be on their own separate layer, covering the blemishes without removing them on the original layer, which in turn makes it easier to redo them selectively if you're not happy with the result.
