That Duster is quite the value for money. I did not expect this.
It has the Nissan X-trail's off road system that's why is so capable.
You should check the price of the suzuki, its cheaper and a far better car to drive. I would go as far as saying chalk and cheese.
its a renault it has no value lol. will break very fast. and resale value is in the drain.
Looks like Duster is performing better than Rav4 or Honda Crv

I installed a cheap LockRight differential locker in the rear differential of my Duster and never looked back 😂

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers Czy jeździł Pan Vitarą z tym wynalazkiem 1.5 ? Jeździłem 1.6 120koni i 1.4 140 koni turbo, powiem że mi 1,4 najbardziej pod pasowało. Czy ten silnik 1.5 jest naprawdę taki mułowaty?

Tak wygrała w ilości zrobionych obrotów kół...
@@ireneuszkaczkowskiW trybie LOCK, na dwóch rolkach kontrola trakcji reaguje znacznie szybciej, niż w Dacii. Problem tej Vitary to skrzynia AGS, która przy większym obciążeniu (np. na trzech rolkach) gorzej współpracuje z napędem niż manual czy automat. Duster funciona bien y en campo igual va mejor que el vitara por las cotas he incluso el control de tracción,pero en seguridad,maniobrabilidad y calidad gana el vitara y en fiabilidad seguramente también.

Are there any differences between the allgrip traction mode of this Vitara as compared to the previously tested ones?
Overall result is the same but they perform slightly different. It may caused by different transmissions.

Conclusion is simply - strong hybrid is strongly limited with new robotized autotransmission with tendecy to overheat and burn the clutch. 1.4 BoosterJed mild hybrid is better with stronger offroad ability.

Test please Vitara BoosterJet 1.4 mild hybrid 2023 with manual transmission. Are there differences between S-Cross BoosterJet 1.4 mHEV 4x4 2023 MT and that Vitara ?
Vitara here is full hybrid so it has AGS transmission. We tested 2016 1.4 AT and results were slightly different, each version probably has slightly different tuning.
How LSD for sports cars would behave in Dacia Duster ,for example OSgiken or Cusco with pressure plate/ring type ? When you add gas, both wheels on the axle should be locked...Would there be any problems with such a setup?
I don't know the specifications of these diffs but if they are strong enough - they would pull the car out.
Ich weiß nicht Warum die User der Vitara bei diesem Test so viel loben. Er hat trotz seine mehrere Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, viele Versuche gebraucht um nicht viel effizienter zu sein.
Qualität und Image sind natürlich ein anderes Thema, obwohl der in Ungarn und nicht in Japan produziert wird.
Beide verkaufen sich in EU, gleichermaßen gut.

@@4x4.tests.on.rollersVielleicht habe ich mich falsch ausgedrückt, während der Duster nur 2 Modi hat (mit/ohne ESP), der Vitara hat schon 6 Programe, ohne dabei deutlich souveräner zu wirken. Auf Alle Fälle, kein konventionellen mechanischen Übertragungssystem (egal wieviele Einstellungen hat) kann so fein regeln wie ein Elektromotor.
@@ProfCalculon Duster has three driving modes (2WD, AUTO, LOCK), Vitara has four driving modes (AUTO, SPORT, SNOW LOCK). Modes in Vitara are much more advanced, they make a difference mainly during driving but also in this test. Third generation of Duster will also have more advanced modes.

Nowe - tak. Czy takie same - bardzo wątpliwe, ale nie ma to tutaj żadnego znaczenia.

Why didn't you compare the new Dacia Duster? This is a 2018 model and this 1.6 aspirated engine is not even in use any more, since 2018.
This is current (second) generation of Duster, 1.6 is still in use on some markets. And it was chosen to fit the power of Vitara (explained in pinned comment).

Tylko w przeliczniku cena / osiągi. Bo wg mnie test kapeńkę lepiej wypadł na korzyść dużo droższej Vitary. Ale i tak szacun dla Dustera. Niezła tania terenówka.

Prawdziwy to jest tylko quattro na torsenie, ewemtualnie xdrive.
To są całkowicie różne rozwiązania. I działają różnie, raz lepiej, raz gorzej.

They have just arrived to my country and don't know anything about that system besides that they use Volvo tech. I know that the engine is the T3 from Volvo, maybe they use Haldex for the AWD? Do you know anything about that? By the way, thanks for your time teaching us through this fine videos.
