The way to Attune weapons is to only go for 2 Traits total while upgrading only 1 Trait at a time, and without getting your 2nd Trait until you near max your 1st Trait. Average cost to near max 1 Trait (within 2-4%) + 40% min total value on your 2nd Trait (Awakening cost factored): 4.4: 6-8M 5.4: 8-10M 64: 12-14M 7.4: 16-18M 8.4: 20-24M

there isn't much way to know that, it would depend on how lucky you were with getting crits and how many rolls it takes to get the traits you want. keep in mind you can never technically 'max' a trait, it simply gets slower and slower to upgrade but to just throw a number out at you to get very high stats of 3 traits on a 5.4 i would estimate 50million
100% agree, I understand that SBI would rather it cost's too much on launch rather than too cheap so that they can slowly make it cheaper with patches without someone mass crafting really good weapons. But SBI have to take into account that if they don't get the balance fairly close at launch they will have a ton of angry people when a patch hit's and the costs are reduced drastically and those people have lost ton's compared to if they just waited a bit. SBI imo could easily decrease the speed at which these weapons gain strain by at least 40% which should remove a lot of costs over time and it still being a bit to expensive. As it is now, I think people might only do the first 7 roll's and just keep what every they are lucky enough to get. The min maxer's will probibly get to the first roll and if the 3 options are not what they want they will probibly put it up for sale and try again with a new weapon, hoping to get one one of their main stats on the first roll.

honestly if you watch the part where i upgrade the 8.4 weapon it just becomes so unobtainable for someone to get the small benefit it provides in pvp content, i really don't think we'll see it much at all after the first week or two
nope! i checked that too, spending focus on test server lowered the attunement cost and for example it was asking for 230k focus (not possible) in order to lower the 200k attunement cost down to 195k lol i was going to include that in the video as well but the video was already quite long
At that point it is more efficient to oc the 8.4 weapon and not bother farming 800 mil pve fame. Completely useless update. Unless you are a yellow zone warrior.

i'm not sure if you watched the video but i think you missed the point, you could have billions of silver but are you really going to kill more than 800m fame worth of mobs to power your weapon? doubt it.
Are you guys okay with 8.4s running around killing newbies? You just want to make it more noticeable? If I start playing and someone comes to me who not only can afford 8.4 when I'm running 5.2, kills me and does it faster than the previous one because he raised his weapon for a small cost, do you think that will help the game evolve? :) Yes it should cost that much, for it can in situational builds solve a lot, it makes an even bigger gap between newbies and those who have been in the game for years. And this game is already not the most friendly to newcomers :)
if you think the cost shown is the video is 'small' then you have a lot more to learn about the game my friend, even if you are at the point where silver means nothing the amount of fame required is absurd
