I used to play lineage 2 where you buy gear for real money and become incredibly overpowered and you cant lose it in a battle. That is could P2W. In albion you buy gold->gear and die in first mist to t4 rat! It is definitely P2Loose!

maybe pay to win, all games are pay to win to some degree but what I like with this game is that you cant be super OP at fights. you have to actually hide your wealth because all enemies, scammers and traitors will target you more to get your gears.

Can i say my opinion plise, maybe some other will not agree but look If you have good pc i mean really good pc or good phone, and goood net work too, yu can play with easy and lern how to pvp cause every one lern, but if yu have bad phone and its lag and crash every time their is 10 pepol around yu its kinda suck. I play on old Phone and imagine with me every foot i do i have i little freeze some time its freeze for 10 sec i still go to Black zone and i try doin static solo with i t4 gear, what i want to say if yu have good matériel and good pc and net work you have pepol have no exuse to say the game its bad, that the true

Swipers tend to be pretty free money if u have superior PvP skill and decent specs yourself (all very attainable f2p with some grind). I run t8 baxe gnature roads 2vX with my friend but we also do some ganking on the side. We ganked some 8.4 guy and some 8.3 guy on different days and got 70m loot to split so easy 35m loot split. Swipers are easy to spot. They have low PvP fame, often low spec/ip for their tier (for some reason most of them don’t swipe specs idk why), and absolutely panic when you start attacking them

Honestly Albion is fairly f2p friendly. You can buy premium with silver. I am completely f2p and only started the game 3-4 months ago. I’m now making something like 100-200m profit/month using my premium by cooking. I have pretty good specs (700 weapon, 900 armors, 111 - 116 main set). I also have ok PvP fame (31m). I have friends who have multiple billions of silver completely f2p. For PvE and PvP fame, you can join the top guilds if you meet reqs. I have friends from the top world boss guild on west (True Gentlemen) all of who are f2p. It is possible to be highly successful in PvP also. I have different friends who are in top 10 ZvZ guilds, have 400k hellgates infamy, and top 8.3/8.4 mist players (good enough to be friends with artricus/him).

Hey! I’d say that Albion is definitely a pay-to-win game. It’s just slightly different (actually better) than in other games, but it’s still there. Here is an argument. The worst possible case is if you can get a specific piece of gear only if you swipe your credit card and that piece of gear makes a huge difference in terms of your fighting potential. That’s not about Albion. However, the definition of a pay-to-win game itself is that you can get a huge advantage over other players by simply swiping and not grinding. Which is exactly Albion’s case. Whenever you buy a skin for your character you just look better. Whenever you swipe your card to buy an 8.4 item you’re getting an edge over your opponents. Can you buy 8.4 without swiping? Sure. However, imagine how many hours you have to do different activities to get 50+mil considering you can’t afford premium. I like Albion and I’ve been playing this game for quite a long time, but it’s hard to deny that card swiping is a thing.

Before I watch - is Albion P2W? Casuals and dad games - yes, they will think it is For good players who understands game and how stuff works - no For bad players with full bank accounts cuz you can in theory pay real money for fame - yes (which is stupid as hell) There's no in-game shop that will give you adventage over players that use no cash shop, everything you can get just by grind

How is this even a question? IP means nothing, you can literally go cleric cowl, assassin jacket, 8.1 poison/sticky pots for soulless undead crutch players + your weapon of choice that has cc(I used primal) and kill mobs in a Mists camp until you get a few boss mobs then wait there for the next movement speed meta slave with radar to come sprinting at you to deliver their 2-20 mill set when you're risking 300k tops. This method literally only works coz people who don't have the time or the IQ to be gud at games pay irl money for bis gear and only focus people lower IP than them so they never learn the fundamentals and as such, either don't inspect or don't know what they're looking at when they inspect because no even remotely skilled player would ever fall for such simple and stupid tactics. If there was no legal or illegal rmt then the only pvp players that would be able to rock gucci would be skilled ones and it would be impossible to take their sets with 4-700 ip disadvantage, so the fact that you can rmt directly makes the game easier for players with brains and don't spend a dime and don't rely on youtube videos or shitty websites for their tactics and strategies. The only reason there's any illusion of a debate over this is just the fact that most humans are really, really stupid, or they're just intelligent enough to unlock the dunning kruger effect and the ones among us that don't fit into either of those boxes very rarely concern themselves with public discourse over superficial debates.

You are talking about top 0.01% of the player base here.... any game that you can pay to increase your combat power is pay to win. Esepcially if you take two players same skill and same ammount of playtime, One of them spent 1000eu on the game and the other was f2p the one paying would have a HUGE advantage.

Its the best monetazation since people are questioning this in the first place, it keeps the game going and if you dont think its p2w its win for you and the company. Its obviosly p2w tho in my opinion. My friend started way later than me and now have the equivilent of my progress. yes he paid alot, hes not top in anything but i still think that he thinks he is winning xD

I kinda not understand people who place Albion as a p2w game just because one can pay for premium. I play without premium and i never feel that i am behind anybody nor that a premium player has any advantage over me. On PvP, which is the core of this game, premium helps in absolutely nothing at all. I don't do any island content so i don't mind not having premium, and if somebody craves premium to do island content, why are you even playing Albion Online if all you want is to have a farm? Premium 50% more fame sure is good, but it doesn't make me, a non premium user, unable to gain any fame. I can still spec things up. Premium 50% more loot sure is good, but it doesn't make me, a non premium user, unable to get any loot. If i open a medium open world chest and i get 2M silver, i won't get sad thinking that if i had premium, i would've gotten 3M. I still get fair loot. The only real downside i see on not having premium, is the amount of learning point one can get per day. I like to gather, so i love to use my learning points to advance a tool's skill tree. However, it feels kind of meh and boring to wait weeks if not months of loggin in each day just to get the +10LP until i'm able to get enough to unlock the next tool's node. It's true that gathering past 20% decreases the amount of LP required to level up, but still, premium makes you wait 3 times less the amount of days, which is a lot of days saved. Learning points aside, i strongly believe that not playing Albion just because one can't pay for premium, is limiting yourself a lot and locking yourself out of an entire game just because one thinks that a 50% is a huge deal and the game is unplayable without it. Somehow, the people who care the least about premium, enjoy the game the most

Pay to win = use real money to get exclusive stuff that give a huge advantage (no other way to get them) Pay to progress = use real money to speed up the grinding processes (in Albion: fame, Silver, specs, etc) Is Albion P2W? No! There isn't any weapon or gear sold exclusively for real money that give a big advantage But It's totally pay to progress (faster): Premium bonuses, skipping some farming/grinding, etc Can a P2P game be like P2W: Yes, Mu Online (official server from Webzen) does that 😅 you literally need to buy xp bonuses to be able to reach max lvl (you cant reach max lvl without paying real money - maybe in 10 years as f2p but who does that?)
