- One of the biggest complaints about Starfield. Why cant I just point and click to land?

The thing is that you don't even need the scanning skills to open your scanner on your ship and travel around. Anyone can do this from the start of the game. People just simply don't know about it.
For me, the only thing that showed up in my scanner was my next mission. I had my scanner out always as I RP pirate life, and never saw them until I put points in skills. Could be I didn't notice them before, but doubtful. I will definitely research more into it. Thank you for the comment. 😊UPDATE: You were right. You can scan the other planets in the systems to jump directly to them. 700 hrs in and I'm still learning new things. Awesome! Thank you for the info!
Valid points: max out the scanner perk tree and utilize a few particular Starborn powers. This is the thing, though - in my 400 hrs playing Starfield and multiple play throughs, I have yet to max out the scanner perk tree nor cared for the Starborn powers save Gravity (very first power obtained).
For what it is, I’m enjoying Starfield. And after almost 400 hrs of playing time, it’s a game I’ll come back to now and again.

Very useful tipps. I didn't know that one can select POIs directly from the scanner in the cockpit! Also, the resource tip at the end was cool.
Finally, it's refreshing to have found a channel which has a positive attitude towards games and Starfield.

I'm glad there is someone out there creating positive starfield videos. After over 700 hours playing I am still finding new things. While the game does have issues most never even gave it a fair chance. Keep up the good work.

I played on series X and I never even really noticed the loading screens until I saw the internet losing its mind over them. I don't think there's any loading screen in the game that's even 10 seconds long! My friend played on series S and he said the loading screens weren't long enough to complain about either.
I agree with you about the loading screens. Thats just standard in all Bethesda games. Around 14 seconds. I think some of the people who are complaining may be new to a Bethesda game. Also the ship was designed by Wize Old Wizard. I love his ship designs. I also built his Aetos over the Star Eagle. 140 hours and counting in Starfield. It's easily my favorite chill game, and my go to bethesda game now. I will say though I can kind of understand peoples assumption with the loading screens.
In my opinion New Atlantis is a bit of a problem. The spaceport on the bottom of the city and it requires you to use the NAT to go up, which is a forced loading screen. You don't need a loading screen, you can jump from the penthouse balcony down to the MAST area, down to the spaceport and then out of the city to go do some POI's but... the NAT is your first introduction to cities in Starfield and shows you a loading screen. It gives you options to the other districts which puts into your mind that "Oh... to go from MAST to the Commerical district I need to use the NAT... loading screens..."
So to a degree I can see peoples issues... sometimes... I hold that the transition animations to landing on a planet is still way quicker than if you were to actually land it. Having played other space games, I've always found the planet to planet flying really boring.
Anyways love the content! Love supporting creators who play what they love and disproving and fighting against ignorant hate.
2:06 that’s awesome, but it would be a cool if we got an update that gave us the ability to set a landing spot without having to open a menu, too
Edit: if they did that, they’d also have to give us the ability to fly around a planet quickly

I've got 40 hours on the game beat main quest, uc, and crimson fleet questlines ive gave it more than a fair chance but the game was still a let down to me the exploration outside of quests is very lacking i find myself walking in the same direction for 15 mins with nothing to show for it except a randomly generated base I've already seen 10 times and cleared out before.
NPC bases on planets are for farming legendaries. Exploration is in SPACE, and I'm not talking about planet markers, Im talking about random SPACE marker spawns, that have epic battles with legendary capital ships and their fleet, to a ship I found with 30 dead cultist who just drank the koolaid and were all dead. There were 30 safes in the back of the ship with all their belongings, TONS of loot, but you had to search the dead bodies for the keys. Many other interesting and weird things to discover, IN SPACE. Even markers in space you wont see until you level your scanner with other random SPACE encounters. Exploration is NOT on the planets. Again. planets are for farming legendary weapons and armor, and building outposts. i'm NG plus 11 and dont have to walk anywhere. I can traverse a planet surface from point to point at light speed with my grav dash, and fully encumbered. Faster that you would a vehicle. I can pull elements straight from the earth without a cutter. I can suck the oxygen out of a room with the snap of my fingers. You were let down because you didnt play long enough, or needed to be hand held. 40hrs in a Bethesda game is nothing. Nobody plays Bethesda games for the storyline, they play for the RP. 700hrs in and only played the storyline twice.

Hard to get into the game because these loading screens like to freeze and the constant restarting is annoying.
i got used to the loading screens. No complaint there. My only complains have been off the shelf critical bugs that modders have to fix.
Hopefully Bethesda will fix most of the bugs, which is a good idea before the creation kit comes out. Last update was over 100 bug fixes, and the plan to release updates and patches every six weeks. Hang tight, hopefully they will get fixed, but it is a Bethesda game. There is always going to be some jank, lol. Thank you for the comment!😁

The menus are no more egregious than that of Cyberpunk or The Witcher 3. The loading screens are a mon issue in the same way they were in Prey 2017 imo. They're pretty quick and expecting a game with this much dialogue, characters, customization, and depth to have zero loaodnf screens probably wont be achievable for another 10 to 20 years if ever. No loading screens in a li ear game ia different than a massive RPG exploration game.
PREACH DEADFORGE! lol. Plus in most cases you dont even need to open your menu to travel in your ship, Just open your scanner, point and click to your destination. Open your scanner, over a planet, hover over the POI, click, land. No need to even open the menu while traveling in a system. I have no problem with the loading screens. Maybe an animated one like Helldivers would be better instead of the images.
