I’m gonna do this and I want the pipe size you have. I’ve listened to every muffler delete video I could find. Seems like the pipe size actually makes a significant difference. You remember what pipe diameter they used?
If I do this to my truck does it void warranty???? Also I disabled my auto start by just disconnecting the tow haul wire under the cabin works great nice vid
It's doesn't void warranty.. if u remove your catss it will. And that the only thing I don't like the auto start stop jaja sometime i forget to turn it off and when i get to a red light shuts off haha
@@edencantu4701 If u do a full exhaust with no catss..depending on what part of Texas u are they mite be.. but if u know someone then there's no problem in some states they do the emission test and thats when they fail u
@@boosteddave4603 I'm from Edinburg , been wanting to do something like this since getting my 5.0. Would like to take both out for now just didn't know if inspection would be a problem.
@@edencantu4701 shouldn't be bro i am form zapata and if u remove your cats u will have to get a tune if not your service engine will be on and won't function as well your engine
I have the same truck with the 5.0 are your “injectors “ loud or at least that’s what ford says that’s what’s making the noise and they say it’s normal
@@nickforet686 I know how ya feel man the infamous bbq tick really isn’t anything to worry about the bigger issue is pre detonation which my truck does every now and then I need to adjust the power enrichment but I can’t afford a hp tuners interface rn 😂 but a little wont cause damage
This was my concern as well. I was going to order the Borla S Type for their no drone system, but $100 for a muffler delete vs $1400 is a significant difference!

I think its a 3" just where they replace the muffler

Same in the mpg but sounds way better and there's no drone inside the cab
Did removing the muffler trigger the check engine light? Also was the idling any different? I’ve heard they don’t idle as well without a muffler

Any issues with getting inspection tag if the res is taken off aswell ? Sounds better brother

I just did the muffler delete and still running it like thats love the sound... I still factory resonators and catalyser
