Nice vid, got me going on ES-9 & CV Tools basics. I went through and labeled all my Aggregate Interface I/O in Ableton, which is going to help a LOT.
    Thanks!

Amazing! Glad it was helpful. Maybe I should get back to making these videos...

One important thing when setting up the aggregate device is to make sure you enable drift correction on the devices not designated as the clock source (also seems to work if you enable drift correction on all of the devices). If this setting is not done correctly, there will be pops and crackles that slowly start to occur.

This is very useful, i agree with you that there is a dearth of examples for this surely-pretty-common combination of Live + modular using ES-9...i think if you're going to use this kind of screen resolution for your demo tho, it'd look a lot better in 1080.

Your Audio Midi set up looks nothing like mine. Any chance you can explain more clearly the process from 2:20 - 4 :00 please?

It’s hard to say without seeing what you’re looking at, but the audio midi studio has a few different windows, the one I’m using is the audio devices window. You should be able to select between them in the windows tab at the top. Hope that helps!

Hey Man, very useful tips i recenlty bought an ES-9 and I'm suing it as part of an aggregated device too. I wanted to ask you how would you send a clock out to a sequencer and get rid of latency, I'm having big time issues, I have tried using abletons track delay but it doesn't work I'm getting 150ms of latency .
Any help would be much appreciated it :)

Hey thanks for watching! That’s definitely frustrating. I would try both as the master clock and see if the latency is better with either, and then I would try a different cable. I was recently having a bunch of latency and connectivity issues that were driving me crazy, and it turned out to be a cable issue. This can especially be the case if it’s a longer cable. I’d recommend using one 6ft or less if possible. Hope that helps!

Why would I need to make an aggregator this n midi/audio? Es 9 already shows up there

If you're using more than one interface, which I am in this video.

Does your Es-9 also get quite warm? ES says that's normal, I worry about my other modules and the case

Hi! I will start your video series now! Thanks a lot, but I'm on a PC, I'll probably suffer as usual (I've been trying to get rid of my latency for 2 years)

The Ableton KOOL-AID 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Bitwig is the option, just connect and that’s it. I saved you 17 full minutes of you day and prevent you from ear bleeding here. You are welcome
