Really interesting to hear your thoughts on coming from guitar/ band setting vs eurorack and improvising. I guess more time spent improvising means hopefully you get more comfortable with it.
Hi man love your channel, watched bunch of your Nifty case videos before I got mine. I recently managed to fill it with usable modules and start jamming. I got a question about your case power, why do you use external power and not case's, are there any concerns about reliabilty of power for perfomances or something else? Thanks in advance and keep up good work
"I want to get it really smooth, I want to know exactly what I'm doing beforehand..." Is that unusual in Modular? Who gives a fuck? It's modular. Doing what you want is the entire point. If you want to improvise every time, or if you want to rehearse it, just do what the fuck you want. No more, no less. Those of us who return to your videos again and again love the fact that you don't do what all the others do. You are really good at carving your own path. So just do it and don't fucking worry, you have a solid base of listeners/viewers who love the shit out of what you do. Knock 'em dead.
Loving this kind of content. More of your inner thoughts on sets and transitions please! So good.
Superb
Thank you! ☺️
Lovely and inspiring video, thanks a bunch. Best of luck with the upcoming show!
Cheers man! Will try film it :)
@@TheUnperson ah, that would be a treat!
Another great video from my favorite TH-camr. Good luck with your set. ❤
Thank you man!!
Your stuff keeps getting better mate! Mad respect ❤
Cheers man! Much appreciated :)
I love that shimmer at 14:00!
I liked that bit too :D
Thanks for the look behind the scenes. Cool stuff. Good luck on the live performance.
Cheers man! Will hopefully get a video of it to upload :)
classy content as per squire!!!
Mucho appreciato!

Hey, thanks! I got my case second hand and the power supply was faulty. I wouldn’t have any concerns with your case ~ it should work perfectly :)
@@TheUnperson hah thanks. Good to know, Im not in a mood for spending money and HP on a new power :)
You ever getting that power supply sorted? Don't you need the stock PS to get the midi working?
is the SP404sx synced to the rack in any way? i have one as well and have been looking into midi sync?
just make the sample the right length and hit the button in time, no?
I don't really sync anything lol. The samples are at the same bpm and triggered in time (hopefully).
@@TheUnperson yeah sounds digitally synced!
Are you using a different power supply than the one included in the nifty case? Why?
My adapter was broken :)
Nice one 👍 mad to think there's as much complex sound going on and you're not really using a mixer. Enjoy the gig!
Lovely stuff! What time are you on at Buena Vida? I’m doing my show on Saturday too (1-2pm)
Oh cool! I'm on at 7-8. I live just round the corner so I'll try head round for your set!
Love it. I use snippets of movies for song transitions. Would fit your style, I think.
Great idea! I've been planning on using more samples in my performances.
First tune sounds a bit familiar.... did you do it in your most recent Wavetable gig maybe?
It was in the Attack/Release set i did :)
i grabbed a WMD AXS stereo crossfader module before they shut down. useful for this but not every problem in eurorack needs a 1:1 module solution
Have never heard of this module but seems like such a handy utility!!
@@TheUnperson It was an impulse buy when they were shutting down and had it on deep discount. pretty useful.

Cheers buddy ~ inspirational pep talk! ☺️
