I have a 2003 Spirit Road Master been in storage. Only 3 months took it out of bubble it started then stalled after two minutes. Now it won't start cranks over but won't start. Any help would be awesome. Thank you.
If you have the video of you installing the Baker 6 speed, I'd sure love to see it. I have a 2003 Indian Spirit Roadmaster and I want to upgrade to a Baker and chain/sprocket. Thanks Brother, really liked this vid as well.
Anyone know the symptoms of a bad stator. Got same exact bike and cranks but will not run. You get like one or two blasts from the pipes and that’s it. Not sure if it is fuel, battery or what this mechanic is doing. I hope it’s just the battery
@@RaddBadgerz If you put a volt meter on the battery terminals you should see about 12volts DC when stopped or idling. When you rev it up, voltage should go up to around 14volts. If not, it could be the regulator or stator. The stator outputs AC, so when testing this you need to measure ac volts on the 2 wire connector that goes into the voltage regulator. Forgot what the reading should be from the stator, but if there's no ac output from the stator, there will be no DC volts out of the regulator as well.
I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the S&S 88s were not counter balanced engines. My reasoning is I've owned six bikes with that engine and have lost all the fillings in my teeth from the vibration. Also, there was nothing special about the oil tank in that bike, it was a stock Indian part.

How'd you shake out? Brother and I are troubleshooting his Scout (same year) and he thinks it's the starter, but this video makes me think otherwise.

I have an '03 Scout Deluxe. Definitely not a Twin Cam B. No balancers. Impact away on that comp nut.
i thought they used evo style S&S motors not Twin Cam
Danny Standish they are Evos and are not balanced.
