Do you have links to Ork Pirate STLs?
I think my favorite detail of the model is that it's clearly a Harridan under the armor, meaning the orcs hijacked a space bug bio-titan, that's ballsy as all hell.
Dees Boyz don't fear nuttin!
Waaaaaaay back in the day in one of the early Ork codexes GW mentioned that Squigs were originally a tyranid bioweapon and that Ork simply domesticated them.
Tyranids got Orc-y biovores in the trade, it’s a give and take relationship
Better tip for filling the gaps, use resin mixed with baby powder ! Easy to use, cure with UV and extremely solid !
That's a excellent idea! I'll have to try that out in the future
i can second this, i made 3 tiny pots with each having more baby poweder in it to have different density, thicker ones are best for bigger to start with thicker cracks and a more less dens to get rid of tiny ones. get a UV flashlight for easy on the spot curing ,but make sure u have UV protective googles. ;)
Awesome model, you've done a great job. Where can i find it? Dont play orks but it too cool to NOT have!
It’s station forge my brothers
The orkaz dragon bomba
I put a stainless steel wire mesh round the cleaning basket Sam mate. It's a good 1-2 hours work maybe getting it perfect but it works really well for keeping the little bits from getting lost or destroyed.
That's such a good idea
I use a 13$ ramen noodle strainer from Amazon. Sits on the bottom of the basket plus u can use the handle to shake your bits in the basket good.
@@brianparamore6928 That's a good idea too.
Was thinking just yesturday.."did GW whack the man?" 🤔🔪
Happy to see you are still kicking around👍😀
Haha thanks brother!
When they contained the Orks and Tyranids in Octarious... "Oh yeah great idea Inquisitor, they'll just wipe each other out, what's this worse that could happen?"
"Sir, the Orks are riding Harridans now"
This should be made canon
This is definitely the coolest!
orkz!!!! love this man
Thanks brother!
All ork players know three important fings...
Fing Wun is dat every print is a test print..
Fing too is dat dere is no such fing as a failed print, just moar gubbins for da bitz box.
Dis is da way
Very much enjoyed the vid. Now to hunt this one down.
Thanks brother!
I am horrible with overdoing my prints. I do have a tool that helps though, on both FDM and Resin, a pen-sized reciprocating sander. It is different than a dremel/rotary sander in that it works like an electric toothbrush instead of a grinding drill.
That's interesting! How do you handle the resin dust? Is there a lot?
@@battlebrothersam There can be, so a small shop vac (similar to the car portable type) turned on helps. Or a dab of water on the part.
@@battlebrothersam i am using a cheap nail dust collector and working above it to collect it when grinding ;)
Honestly, genuinely enjoy every video out of you. One of the most consistently enjoyable TH-camrs in the community right now.
Thanks brother!
Are there any good Ork Pirate minis out there?
There is! I think most of the ork creators do a variation on them
tons of them. i never wanted to do an ork army untill i saw all these damn nice models.
Tip of my life - IPa to smooth miliput. F$@!# hell, its like internet in 90' :) great post production !
Thanks brother! Another brother commented with possibly an even better way to fill gaps using resin and baby powder!
In using J3DTech Cubes of Calibration, were you able to get the cubes to fit and all the pillers to print? Or did you still have failures on the pillars?
I was able to get the cubes to fit but I couldn't get the first 1 or 2 pillars in the first section to print but the Google doc says that's fine
If yo get your perfect time you dont have any problems, fit ideolo
It would be nice if you can stop attributing 3D printed models to 40K directly, and start mentioning "Proxy" in your video titles to make things a bit safer for creators.
I know it's not your intention to cause issues, but the more separation we can achieve as a community from GW the safer it'll be in the long term.
"I 3D Printed the BEST PROXY 40k Model Ever!" is a simple change I'd make but I won't tell you how to run your channel.
Thanks mate, keep up the good work.
jeez bud. ive been printing at 300, 1000 lift speeds without fail. your prints must be slowwww
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH
