It's something I've seen the Marine Corps Color Guards do during evening parades, it looks nice but it enters the realms of exhibition drill and definitely isn't in the manual.
Does anyone notice that it says Coast Guard in the title but it's a Naval JROTC? Not to be confused with CG JROTC. But eh, I'm not American. Just a minor question.
Video title: Colton High School NJROTC CG at Ramona HD The video title is correct. NJROTC = Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. In this instance, CG = Color Guard.
4th garrison 1st troop no different schools have different branches if your school does not have this program then you can do it later in college or just join the military
DAMN They out voice the marines DI. I think the marines DI are crazy to be honest. Always shouting and shouting like idiots as if combat drove them crazy. Should get their mental checked before being a DI and I don't trust the Marine Corp to check them.
Also, the reason why the cadets out voiced the DIs were because the DIs used a "frog voice", thus saving their voice and if they do loose their voice it can be easily recovered.
The cadet calling commands has a loud, but unclear voice. Gotta use that diaphragm
I've never seen a jrotc with khaki combo cover.
navy jrotc's have them for upper nco's, my school dosent have them because we couldnt afford both white and khaki.
+Crimson Tiger lol
The cadet on the far right has such a commanding and powerful voice for his age
that flip flop just did an about face with the colours, the DI went pretty easy on him
Who is the DI on the right? hes freaking awesome
I was about to say the same thing. I've seen him in another video.
i thought they werent supposed to about face because they're carrying the colors
That's why the DI screamed at him about doing an about face with under colors
was i the only one who saw the right guard ready cut mistake?
No, he made a mistake while marching too
To who ever was right rifle when ever you make a mistake stick with it one hit is better than two
What's with the foot scrapes before every time they mark time?
It's an extra flourish. Depending on the rules of the competition that should have been considered a regulation violation.

dam. they were doing their right turns and left turns extremely fast
right? like those turns were to fast i did Rotc colorguard and we would get ripped into about small stuff like this
bla bla bla, yes sir! yes sir!

That's wild, this my hs
Do you have to go to the high school to be part of thia
4th garrison 1st troop no different schools have different branches if your school does not have this program then you can do it later in college or just join the military
Most of the guys that I was Njrotc with did right away but I’ll enjoy my life before I gotta go through some shit
If your high school doesn’t have a JROTC program you can always join Sea Cadets
The rifleman on the right end sucks. I had my flaws too but man smh
Not bad

I don't expect my Marine Corps to check you after ISIS beheads you.
The DIs are supposed to yell to test then to see how they react under pressure
If you can't operate under extreme pressure, you die in combat. Simple psychological concept.

They are not yelling and shouting. they are speaking in a voice that everyone can hear.
