    This is a great interview. I'm from Ghana and migrated to the United states when I was 21. I just started my first job as a RN with a bachelor's degree and I understand all the struggles she's talking about from accent to having to prove that you belong in every place you find yourself.

    Hi I was offered a role to be trained and be a CNO. It have 17 years experience but more clinical and in many different roles. CNA,caregiver,certified medical assistant,and then RN. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

    are you the only black director of nursing in the united states??? because i’m really starting to think that you are. it’s so hard to find a black woman in a leadership position on the nursing world. and it’s such a shame

      Negroswagg my 2 Aunts and my freinds mom who are black are Directors of Nursing! Trust me they are there
