I have an old screwdriver looks exactly like that one , mine was originally my grandfathers who worked at a Royal navy dockyard in Rosyth Scotland , he passed it on along with other tools to my dad who also done his apprenticeship at the same dockyard years later who then passed them on to me , I am 64 no idea how old my screwdriver is .

It's awesome that you have a rough history of your tools, I can only estimate the age of these but they were my great, great grandfathers so I think it's more likely over 100 years

Use to have a screwdriver just like that when I use to work in the car restoration trade in the early 90’s.
Remember using it like a chisel and shattered the wooden handle. My idea of restoring it was a healthy dollop of UPOL P40 🤣
