Excellent!! You can also use an ice pick to get one end of the staple up enough to pull it out with your needle nose pliers too. Great job today! You might feel it in your arms tomorrow.😉 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great tip! I never thought of using an ice pick! Thanks for sharing 😊
Your makeover chairs shown on the last blog are beautiful!!!
Thank you!😊
Great job Cindy! So Excited to see the progression from here.
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
Looking great Cindy!!!
Thank you!! I'm excited to get it done!
Love the fabric you chose to cover with!
Thank you! 😊 It's one of my fave fabrics!
Pop of fun color, navy! Thank you for the video
You are welcome! Thanks for watching. part three is Sunday evening 8pm EST :)
I just started my first reupholstery project of this tiny antique couch/settee. It was my grandmas. It would fit 2 kids or one adult maybe 2 if squished. She called it a “twosie” but I can’t find others online… you’re making me feel better about the staples. It takes so long! I’m just using a small screw driver and bent pliers though.
Your settee sounds like a treasure! And yes, those staples 😝 The staple/tack remover does help. It’s like a little crowbar. Take your time, put on an audio book or podcast (we just started one over on Apple and Spotify!) and remove each one! You can do it😊
Loved your tutorial and I especially appreciate the tips you’ve made, that some people would forget.
Loved the fabric choices you made, and as for the paint colour of the wood, either colour would be good choices. Myself I would try to keep it in the natural wood state, unless it’s too far gone.
Thanks so much! 😊 I hope everyone finds this tutorial helpful. The wood isn't too far gone for the wood look. It would be lovely in its natural state after stripping the original finish. That's a great suggestion, thank you!
Thank you for these videos. I picked up a very old rocker with similar fabric and tacks. Although, I’ve recovered some seat cushions, never anything with tacks. Your videos will be very helpful.
Yay!! I'm so glad you find these tutorials helpful! Please feel free to reach out with any questions that may come up as you work on your project! I would love to help the best I can 🥰
Excited to see the end 🤗💕
Thanks! The chair is looking so good. Be sure to watch Sunday night 8pm EST for part three!
@@ReinventedDelaware excited 🤗
I'd like to see the chair painted navy.😃
Navy for the win!!
Where do you get your complementary plain fabric
Hi! Sorry I forgot to include the link for that fabric. I will add it to the description now! Here is the affiliate link for the solid grain sack fabric. It’s such a great quality! rstyle.me/+wvX-mleuX0hvzajqSnc0Bg
