They kept saying Power Rangers but they put on the suit right at the end but that was it. Oh and the beginning where the original Power Rangers died. Power Rangers were a mere cameo in their own film. You can not deny that it was like an hour and something of relationship drama which would have been okay if it was advertised as such. Also, what did the Power Rangers achieve at the end? Point is that it could have been miles better. There was a fan film that started out the same with power rangers being killed but then it went into the action and was a good film. This film had whiny protagonists and that girl was like 'Boohoo I released nudes of a girl and ruined her and she will most likely commit suicide but I'm the true victim' or the 'My parents are normal and I'm somehow angry about it'. The black autistic character is the only decent one there. The villain was useless but acted like a creep in that scene in the girls bedroom when she was touching her face. If not for the age rating, I would have thought she was going to rape her or something which makes little sense considering shes working for her 'master'. Everytime I watched the film, it reminded me of glee mixed with bootleg Breakfast Club. I really wanted to like the film (since I read it was supposed to be more gritty) but it was disappointing. Also, I don't get why they were so reluctant to put on the suits. It's not like they had to leave their boring lives.
I think she probably was a nurse or a doctor. That said, it's implied that she's distant from her mom, because she is afraid about how she's gonna react when she comes out of the closet. Which in turn, just makes her mom more erratic because the lack of communication is driving her crazy.

In my headcanon, Trini is actually trans. Not just in this movie, but in the whole franchise. That's why, in the original series, her Ranger form doesn't wear a skirt like Kimberly's does. (Yes, I know the *real* reason. That's why I call this "headcanon".)
