Caleb - great video… what tools do you use on a regular basis for your job role… I’m looking at transitioning into a azure cloud security engineer from my current dev role and I want to know what tools I should conquer to do this role effectively, like terraform for example.
Hi Caleb, I want to get into the path of cloud security, I have knowledge of cybersecurity, hacking and programming with python, I have never worked in IT, my plan is to start with aws partitioner, and then continue with solution arch and then sec, do you think I could get into some work? My doubt, is if I have to do some SOC path (blue team) or directly I go for cloud, and the last doubt is if I need to do comptia sec+ (I have the knowledge from other courses, but I can't afford the price of the certification for the moment) or with aws partitioner is it ok? Thank you very much for your time.
Heyy I am doing BCA in cloud computing AWS from India . so I want a proper guidance like how can I get into cloud on job posts like cloud engineer cloud security engineer etc..I have watched your videos in TH-cam but I want more information more experience sowould u pls guide me like how can I be a good cloud engineer and how can I start my job as a cloud engineer after BCA .. and are there jobs in India also for cloud engineers or I have to move to US UK or some other foreign country only???
That’s great, you’ve already got great security skills just continue learning about the cloud and how you can apply the skills you already have on cloud platforms! 🤝🏾🙏🏾
It’s a good question! Wouldn’t say you ‘neeed’ to learn programming languages but it can be useful depending on what you do! For myself personally I don’t code atm but I do use scripting tools and commands such as powershell and bash. You don’t need to know every command but good knowledge of them is necessary for my role! Hope this helps
I am student without a degree. I aspire to become a cloud security engineer. Should i start by taking comptia security+ or should i focus on learning microsoft azure and relative certification. I don't know where to start my learning. can you give your view on what i shoul do. thank you.

How was your experience when you first got hired ? Did they give you some training first couple weeks or did they just put you to work automatically?
Hey I got a lot of training and preparation for the first two months wich was very helpful! Not every company will do this but I’m grateful they did

That’s a great question and I don’t think there’s any right answer on this, sec+ is a valuable certification as well as azure associate certs 👌🏾
