Good question because in college 99% of the time they never play under center, if you watch any college games they only play from Shotgun, that’s with all college teams do it’s weird…..
College is supposed to be the stepping stone to the league. Why are colleges not teaching nfl techniques. No wonder we have random star players that bust. Coming in with tons of bad habits because the college coaches want to win more than prepare the kids for the next level.

They say the reason Belichick was so great is he would rather run 10 new installs at a time until the players properly executed the install. Belichick said why learn a bunch of new plays wrong. Belichick said once you learn 10 installs then you will get another set of 10 installs. Nobody care if you got 100 installs, and only 5 of them was good.

College football has more ways of taking advantage of rules than the NFL. Hash placement is the first thing I think of.
College Coach’s job for the university is to win not get somebody ready for the pros. However, it does help recruiting
