    I'm using it since July 2022, it is a great scooter when it works but I've been 4 times to the assistance after an abnormal fast discharge. Every time the answer is "the assistance controlled the firmware remotely and everything is ok". Via app I remark the errors every time it appends but it doesn't look the assistant is solving any problem on my scooter and unfortunately I'm not the only one.
    Please provide us more user instructions or better assistance

      Have you heard back from NIU about this issue? Software related issues are a bitch and if they're a problem on the Niu, I'd rather get a Vespa.

      @@davidhunternyc1 NIU doesn't talk with customers, just with resellers/official assistance. firmware updates are quite frequently, but I think most of the problems I had are related to improper recharging methods. in my experience every time I had a default I was using the scooter with a residual charge... peraps I never had a deafault using the scoter after a full charge (and balance). real problem is that there is not enoght history to confirm this theory or fix the problem, or using the warranty

    Would the gt evo be a better option over the cargo for delivery ?

      Cargo have a greater range from what I understand.

    I appreciate how everyone @ NIU always says it can compete w/any petrol ⛽️ 125cc 🛵…….speed (YES)….torque (YES)….range (NO 🙅🏽‍♂️)!!! 125cc’s like the Yamaha Zuma 125 etc…has 100+ MPG. On the GT EVO, most of us will stay in “Sport mode” which will probably produce 20-25MI range in a real world scenario…..while a gas 125 🛵 will still be 100+ MPG respectively. 🙂

      True, that's why I'm considering a Vespa GTS 300 over the NIU MQi GT Evo.

      @@davidhunternyc1 Nice, & once our PEV’s can match the voltage (72V motor + 72V 🔋🔋), THEN it can compete. 72V 26ah🔋🔋 isn’t cutting it. 🤷🏽‍♂️

      @@ROBB_DEEPyou do realize the scooter has double 26ah batteries.

    • @ROBB_DEEP
      @ROBB_DEEP 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JudeTheTH-camPoopersubscribe I’ve been knowing that for 2yrs already…..the point is…NIU is know for its “extended range batteries 🔋🔋”…….this model is “standard range” (26Ah)….while their extended range is usually (35ah). Even with (2) 72V 26ah 🔋🔋’s, you still will experience “range anxiety” if you ride like most of us (in Sport mode) all the time. So in real-world riding, that claimed 47mi is cut in half….

    Ive seen quite a bit about a firmware update , that a few owners are saying has killed the usability of the scooter. Its put me right off now .

      @@alanjones7040 have you run the battery down , I mean I get if you get down to 20% it'll cut a bit of power etc . But from 50% , I mean I get it's just the programming , and I guess depending where you are in the world to for updates as some are only dealer available. It does worry me I like a little ride out , but being out 20 miles and getting effectively limited power and speed 😳. So you've had no issues below 50% ? Doesn't drop to dynamic mode etc?

      It depends entirely on your use case. I guess they tweaked it to reduce the wattage as the battery starts to get quite low. For myself and the roads I ride on nearly all the power is usable and you are still getting 2000 watts by the final 10% or so. All the people complaining rode it on the highway at ridiculous speeds.

    I live in NYC, in a 3rd floor walk up apartment. I would like to see a video, from beginning to end, of someone removing the dual batteries and walking them up stairs and plug them into a wall outlet for charging. Then later, walk them back down and put them back in the scooter. It's this process easy? Difficult? I have no idea.

    • @thegamealecesar
      @thegamealecesar ปีที่แล้ว

      I did it at the beginning, it is not that difficul, but looks like it is preferable to charge the barreties using the connector inside the scooter in orther to balance at the same time also the auxiliary battery. charging the batteries outside the scooter, apparently, was the cause of my first system failure

      @@thegamealecesarIf removing the batteries and charging them in my apartment would cause failure of any kind, then it’s a no go. Thanks for the explanation.

    You might not be able to answer this question, but the Segway E200P is similar in specs (5kw Motor/ 74V 27AH 🔋🔋’s/ 62MPH)….but it can produce up to an acclaimed 124 MI. How come the GT EVO can only do 47 MI? 🤔 That’s even before any extended range 🔋🔋’s are even released…..
