- One of my favorite motorcycles is this 1977 Harley Davidson XLCR. When the Cafe Racer popularity exploded in the mid 1970's, Harley Davidson wanted to get into the action and did so with this Willy G. design. Though not really competitive with the best of the European bikes, it was a significant leap forward for Harley in terms of both performance and certainly design. It was the first Sportster with triple disc brakes and good suspension components that made it a lot of fun in the twisties. It's 1000 CC iron head motor pulled like a freight train. Very few of these were sold in 1977 and 1978 and they became instant classics and collectables. So come along for the morning ride in the canyon and enjoy the sights and sounds!

Best looking harley ever made
Finally found the girl of my dreams. Subbed.
wold be nice without music
Turn down the volume genius 🤣🤣🤣
@@Motorat88Oh, wow! Your tip was so incredibly intelligent that I can hardly contain my gratitude. I mean, who wouldn't appreciate such a brilliantly clever morsel of wisdom? You're a real genius, mate!
I remember seeing them on the road in 77 and 78. My Kawasaki 900 and KZ1000 would put them to shame any time and cost a lot less to buy. But I think they are good looking bikes, just too slow and heavy to compete with other bikes.
I have a fantasy bike garage and this one would be in it😍
Mines been modiifried
For a well-maintained XLCR in this day and age, a subscription seems a small thing to ask. Done and dusted.
Ermax have literally remade that fairing for the '22 Yamaha XSR900
Com-on .... Harley's are all about sound and you're playing music instead?
I have oversized carburetor, custom exhaust, reverersed shift 1 up 3 down
Truly built, for to Owner Willie G!!.
Actually, Connor, Willie G.
Too honor!

Beautiful bike, again! But agree with the peanut gallery on BaT, the music was a poor choice. Nothing over that, but Motorhead "Built for speed" or "Ace of Spades" would be a good choice, but some classic Bachman Turner Overdrive, Credence, Deep purple Burn would be great, but Highway star would really fit well.
Nobody gonna take my girl
I'm gonna keep her to the end
Nobody gonna have my girl
She stays close on every bend
Ooh she's a killing machine
She's got everything
Like a moving mouth body control
And everything
I love her I need her
I seed her
Yeah she turns me on
Alright hold on tight
I'm a highway star
Nobody gonna take my head
I got speed inside my brain
Nobody gonna steal my head
Now that I'm on the road again
Ooh I'm in heaven again
I've got everything
Like a moving ground an open road
And everything
I love it and I need it
I seed it
V twin is all mine
Alright hold on tight
I'm a highway star
Nobody gonna take my ride
I'm gonna race it to the ground
Nobody gonna beat my bike
It's gonna break the speed of sound
Ooh it's a killing machine
It's got everything
Like a driving power big fat tires
And everything
I love it and I need it
I bleed it
Yeah it's a mad hurricane
Alright hold on tight
I'm a highway star
I'm a highway star
I'm a highway star
I ride an XLCR and it doesn't need any sound other than that Ironhead thrashing away. Believe me.
本当、いいバイクなんだけどマイナー過ぎて…………遂に希少車になりましたね。 アメリカンで無くヨーロピアンでも無く、精密工芸とパワーの日本でも無い。
I think these are possibly the worst looking motorcycles Harley ever made. Willie G. couldn’t make up his mind if he wanted a flat tracker or a road racer. He got neither and now we know why they only made them for 2 years. Having said that, this is a nicely preserved example.
