That's a great system. One other thing your doing is not damaging the tree as you drag the bag up. If you camp in high traffic areas you can see what bag hanging can do to trees, sawing off the outer bark opens the trees to insect or disease.

You could grab a stick to use as a "T" handle or toggle for smaller diameter cordage.

Tugging on a piece of paracord, or really any cord, with bare hands is not fun. Take a short stick and make a marlin spike hitch in the line and then you can use that as a toggle to pull from instead. Much better grip than holding the line itself. And you can easily undo the hitch once there is no longer tension on that section of the cord.

That's a good tip. I make a few wraps around my pocket knife to do the same thing. I should have said that in the vid.

You could tie a small branch to the tag end of the pull rope. That cord is hard to grip

Would adding more carabiners reduce the felt weight of the load lifted? If so what would you say is a reasonable max carabiner count? For a large game like elk.

How would you attach the 3rd carabiner to the game? I have also used the pacific crest trail method for hanging food , but it is very difficult with the friction
