Please remember to share this so that others can hear this message within. And hats off to Andy here for sharing such a simple yet strong message! Talking about what's troubling you, and taking some time for a bit of self care does wonders at keeping you on track!
Thank you David - you are a pleasure to work with and you have a natural talent for this project. You are doing great work by facilitating others to share. Keep spreading the word.
Great first episode David, and well produced / edited. Some great issues discussed there and Andy has a great story. Really looking forward to the next one. 👍
Such a great story and I thank you for the effort I’m bringing it. What a selfless guy with a compelling story and what he said about our absolute need to open up is very important. We should all, listen to that advice. All the best David.
David, I am so happy to see the first story in this series. Thank you for this. I applaud you and the people you are featuring for the courage this has taken. Know in your heart that this is absolutely going to help so many people.
Thanks for breaking your comment silence for this one then Scott, I really appreciate it! Hopefully this series reaches someone who may benefit from hearing it.
Well done David, and especially Andy. Such a touching, personal video and all credit to you both for putting it together so well. Love the cinematography too. Good job.
I have to admit I’m a little nervous about it - just hope it fits in with what you had in mind (my vague recollection is that I just rambled on a lot possibly talking nonsense). Anyway, looking forward to seeing the other videos and hearing the stories.
This is incredible David! So we'll shot and put together with a great message. This is going to be a great series. You're doing wonders for mental health
Great vlog David fully agree with Andy's thoughts and views .it's good to talk .just recently I've helped a work colleague who was having a bad time and all I did was to stop and listen .I over the past few years have also had issues with stress and mental health and to this day i still suffer earlier this year I lost my grandfather my grandmother and also my dad . I've found that getting out in the fresh air and joining different clubs and talking I feel better .
Quite right, Andy's message is simple yet so helpful. It's great to hear about people like yourself supporting exactly that. You should be proud. Sorry to hear about the loss to your family, it's never easy to deal with but to take steps towards looking after yourself is the best help.
Super video David and great story from Andy. I myself and very many ex service colleagues in Northern Ireland with varying degrees of health issues physical and mental, including stress and anxiety through to PTSD belong to a charity funded photography group. The support by way of our peers out there wanting to listen, being to empathise with our plight and remembering that there are many suffering much more than ourselves. Keep these videos coming and get the message out there.
Thanks James. Making this type of video was quite different but I was certainly able to apply what I know whilst picking up some new skills along the way.
Glad you liked it Sylvia! And I totally agree, Andy is very good at getting his message across. It's very simply, and very strong. Your video will be in a few weeks I think.
Hope I can come across as well as Andy, looking forward and dreading my episode and looking forward to the other episodes too. Well done it comes across very well indeed and is very well put together.

Well done Dave...we often forget the "why's" of why we do photography and the benefit/enjoyment it gives us.
Quite right Bill. It can be easy to distracted by gear and technicalities that you can forget why we do it in the first place.
Great first episode David, and well produced / edited. Some great issues discussed there and Andy has a great story. Really looking forward to the next one. 👍

Great video. I hope this goes on to help someone
I hope so too John. Sometimes it can just take hearing someone else talking about things to know you're not on your own.
Great video.
👍
Why the premier ?
It's a new feature TH-cam offer, and I thought this being the start of a new series/project I would give it a try. And, why not 😁
@@DavidDixon Ok, I'm beginning to see it all over my feed, and wondered what it was does that different ? Cheers :)
It seems like it's becomes the first/live screening, and adds a live chat during that screening. It becomes a normal video after that.
