I lost my spouse of 10 years last year. When I found this album, it helped get me through the absolute darkness grief brings in a way I never thought any piece of music or any media ever could. Same. I was driving at night and it randomly came on Spotify. I didn't even know who it was by. I almost shit myself when I pulled up my phone and saw it was Porter. Was like a religious experience haha.
I was really nervous and scared about going to a concert. I had never in my life ever been to one but I always had aspirations to go someday. When you announced you were coming to NC I was almost in tears I was so happy. It's one of the most memorable and incredible experiences in my whole life and I have you to thank for it!

I was at your concert in Manchester a few days ago. It was such a big deal to me because it was my first concert but I knew I had to go and I'm so glad I did. Everyone else is saying it, but I can't believe it's been a full year already. I think the album is one of the best things to happen in my life because I connected with it so deeply. I'd say it was a major factor in being less depressed over my life, maybe the largest factor. It felt so nice to feel understood and like I had hope for the future. I also feel like I matured a lot because of it. Before, I was just an annoying meme-infested person, but I became someone who I can at least somewhat respect. It doesn't really matter if you see this or not, you are my hero and a massive inspiration to so many of us.
Literally can’t put into words how much this album meant to me and the rush of feelings that bubble up every time it comes up. It contained so many little quotes and moments that hit right at the core of my worst insecurities and counter them just how I need them to be countered, and I can’t say thank you enough for sharing it all!
