I use them all-mountain, even to teach my daughter on greens. They’re sketch pretty much where normal skis would be sketch. That would be on icy or scraped off slopes. If you like buttering all the time and flat 360s, you’ll like them. If there is 1” to 2” of new snow, you’re good to go. I’m into my second season on mine. They are very forgiving on rails. I haven’t been on an edged ski since I bought them. Hope that helps.
