I really pray that she had a strong support system. Most people will end up on a downward spiral as they hit their teens and early 20s. Man, I hope she defies the odds. So sad.
What a strong girl. Despite what she endured, she had enough strength to comfort the officer that she was okay. She's gonna be a force to be reckoned with!
@@imperialhistorian4201 I see that too but still, I find it amazing that even if she is acting out of trauma that she still was able to answer so kindly to the officer. But I can totally see it being disassociating too with the level of trauma she just went through.
While we don't spare any opportunity to bash the cops, what they go through in their professional life day in and day out is so much that would exhaust any sane person. Having to see the captor face to face yet to restrain themselves from putting a bullet to his forehead requires a lot of self-restraint. Thank you men and women that protect the community. Child abusers deserve NO sympathy.
Got bad news for you, Forrest Hill Police Department was at his room 3 hours before Fort Worth PD and did nothing. Bad cops do exist, and that department is a great example of it.
@@noneofyourbusiness302 It’s actually really scary how incompetent they were. Their report says they didn’t even go inside the hotel room to check, only quickly glanced from the doorway. Luckily, they fired a whipping boy and all problems solved! 🤮
Just so everyone knows. As a young female, even going in for a first pap smear is daunting. We're afraid of men seeing or touching our private parts. Imagine how scared this little girl was being forced. I wish I never seen this.
@JayJay a male gynecologist is the only one who actually listened to me after years of going to two different women gynecologists. First appointment I got surgery and found out I had endometriosis.
It makes me furious that police departments often tolerate bad cops who just make the work of wonderful officers like this harder. The police need public support to do the best possible job in a situation like this and there are too many places in our country where people won't even talk to them, because of the brutality of bad ones. I've known both extremes, my friend Beth's child abusing ex ( former small town GA police) and my Uncle Walter(retired from a department in Alabama and much loved in the community he protected). And I know that it actually hurt Uncle Walter to see the bad ones in action. When he was still active, he'd see film of some awful incident involving a bad cop and say, "Well, my job just got a little harder."
Lights my brain on fire. Credit to Mama, though, she will go through life knowing that this wasn't her fault and she did everything she possibly could.
Oh my gosh. This is my worst nightmare. I am deathly afraid one of my children will be kidnapped! This is why I'm not sorry for being an over protective mama. The one time you tell your kid "ok fine, go look at the toys, ill be there in a second" could be the last time you see them. So greatful for these brave police officers. Amazing detective work, and fatherly instinct led to the rescue of this strong little girl!
Same. I watch my kids like a hawk. Its sad but in my book everyone except a handful in this world is capable of hurting them and I rather over protect and not leave them alone than be sorry later. This mama was just walking down the street and fought the monster. Truly scary. Praying for them both.
I agree but my parents were like this So overprotective and it made me grow up fearing everyone. But I will be the same way as a mother because unfortunately we live in a sick world :(
I'm not a parent but I was brought up like that as well, when I was a child I really wanted to come back home alone as most kids and go visit friends but now I'm so glad my mother and family didn't let me, you never know.
