I gifted this popcorn popper to my teen son two years ago because I was running out of gift ideas. 😂 He loves popcorn and eats it as a snack almost daily, but he just took it out of the box tonight 8/12/24. It worked great and was fun to use, we're going to experiment with different flavors too. Thank you for a great review. 😊
I inherited this unit from my uncle after he passed, he didn't leave it to me but I made sure to get it. Lol He didn't use it too much but for some reason the popcorn had an after taste that we didn't like so it hasn't been used anymore. Don't know if the bottom of it eventually absorbs old oil flavor, plus don't know how often be cleaned it good either. This makes me want to pull it out again and just try to see if I can make the kettle corn and not have any after taste. I did wish the spinner was a bit stronger. We'll see how it goes, keep on popping!! Hugs from Texas!😁
😂 That's really funny. Glad you picked it up. Give it another shot for sure. We didn't notice any strange after taste when we were popping. I recommend making sure the machine is washed really well prior to using it and giving it another go. Kettle corn was really good in it! You keep on poppin' too! Thank you!
I had one of these machines, rebranded for Orville Redenbacher's. I really liked it a lot at first but, the plastic top there wore out bad over time, the machine gets just a little too hot for the material there in a way that adds up over a long time. I ended up buying a replacement for it, np but, of course it was just a matter of time. Now, the machine which is still fine sits in a cabinet unloved with a second plastic container that's really not good to use anymore.
I was thinking of starting out with this machine since it’s cheaper than the larger ones to start my popcorn business. Can I add sugar and make kettle corn in this machine?
Hello! Thank you for watching! Yes! You definitely can, check out the video starting at 6:45 where I demonstrate how to make kettle corn in this popper. I hope that helps!
Hello, popcorn can be very profitable. Just like any business, you have to work at it, but the profit margin can be very lucrative. Are you thinking about opening a business? Thank you for watching!
We’ll have to see if we can use more oil next time. We were only making 2 quart batches which required 1 tablespoon oil according to the instructions. The machine can do 6 quarts which would be three times that. Maybe that’s the difference when you pop? If not we will give more oil a try next time to see how it comes out. Thanks for watching!!

Will Gold Medal Glaze Pop turn my WestBend Stir Crazy blue or pink? I just got it and don't want to ruin it.
Hello! No it shouldn’t. You should be fine to use it. Hot water and mild soap should wash it right away. Thank you for watching!!

This popcorn machine did not work so I put the red lower part in the garbage BUT the see through bowl is GREAT to eat the popcorn in !!!
Oh bummer! We’ve had great luck with ours. Glad you at least got a popcorn bowl out of it 😀😀
Why would you throw it away, take it back to the store to replace it!
Should i invest in a propane popcorn machine, is it profitable?

It would be nice if we could hear you
I'm sorry about that. We will have to do a better job with our microphones. We appreciate the feedback and thank you for watching!
Didn’t even use close to enough oil, I have this unit and put enough oil in it to saturate the bottom probably 4X what you used

Hi! Is your popcorn feel a little bit hard?? Because mine are and I don’t know why or if I’m doing something wrong
We were lucky in that our popcorn turned out really well. Are you using a butterfly or mushroom style popcorn? Thank you for watching!! 🙏 🙏
I think they are butterfly
