Beasty didn't know half the enemy abilities, lost water, didn't know how to counter a titan, STILL WON LMAO -- what a beast. You can see the moment he goes into beast mode. What an entertaining match.
But for real though, you should play campaign, it's amazing. Some missions are incredibly difficult on Titan difficulty.
How do you counter titan :o

This AOM series keeps getting better and better. I hope you achieve great success in this game, Beasty, just like in AOE4.
Really pleased with the smoothness of this release (compared to the trend with most other contemporary releases these days - and their own past form with new releases). They did good - although there are for sure some things they need to tidy up and improve.
this game is so amazing. never expected it that strong in this early stage. a bit tweeking and here we go...

What if he was genuine and just wanted to give you a head's up to try the campaign to get familiar with the game first? He never was rude or something. You literally told him that you were new. He never smack-talked you, you just assumed he was. The guy was just chatty and asked some questions. Not everyone knows you, you are not a disney character, so why were you so hostile towards that guy? I feel your AOE success has gotten a bit over your head lately, which is pretty sad.
Probably because this youtuber is already toxic, so he sees even basic interactions as BM. Definitely won't sub to this person. Yikes.
It is fascinating how social deviants and degenerates will immediatelly start salivating like starved animals at the mere tought of being able to take offense on behalf of some "wronged" stranger on the iternet they've never even met. We truly live in times of soy.

Its more chill and less sweaty than the likes of sc2. Playing 2-3 sc2 1v1 matches drains me mentally hard but i could go for over 1 hour in a single aom match and only feel chill afterwards.

That's on Beasty, not the devs. Villagers can auto-queue so you don't need to tab back to town center constantly. This is just how Beasty plays, and I can understand many pros would still like to play on manual.

It has always been like this. You either watched pro from spectator mode or the pros you watched didn't have high APM (high APM wasn't needed in classic AoM / AoT).

Atlantians are hard to micro their military let alone having to make custom groups for heros mid fight, very strong eco tho, no micro difference for building a storage hut besides for farming. Atlantians way easier, but Norse, Norse is the 2nd easiest

Psychomap is wrong lol. Cracked games can and have been online. The most popular recent example is Sea of Thieves. Cracked players were able to connect to the main servers of the game and play with people who bought the game 🤣

Every Civ starts with 4, and yes, you can upgrade them each time you age up and build as many more as you want

I am getting a bit sad watching SC2 players play aom. This sort of gameplay doesn't work at all in the original game. The new game rewards micro far too much.
Sadness. 😑 I got this game, and I play on slow speed. Meanwhile, people like this do, what, 5 clicks per second? I'll never try MP, especially when you people that write stuff like "You new?". 😔 And can't they turn off unit emotes when streaming these games? The noises are maddening.
Oh don't you worry, beasty is one of the best RTS players. He's a pro, most opponents don't even come remotely close to this.

I played age of mythology as a kid, but only campaign for fun. Seeing this "gameplay" of very good people in RTS games is the stupidest thing to me. I don't get it how is this fun to someone. Not hating, just wanted to say that I don't get it. It's one of those games that I think I would not enjoy if I were this good

It's not sloppy at all. The sound is annoying and the pathing still needs some work but the balance is pretty good for a new release, the graphics are fine, it runs great, gameplay is really fun... Yeah. Just you.

@@jamestucker4800 1000% disagree, respectfully :) . It has kept largely the same art-style (perhaps a teensy-touch more cartoony and bright than before), and has done it's best to have the units look like better drawn versions of the originals - sure I'll grant you that. Emphasis on the 'better drawn' part though. And, to many people, this art-style looks significantly more appealing than that used in their other more recent games, like AoE4. E.g. I could never get over the massive floaty-stick arrows in that game. (Not to say that art-style in AoE4 is bad though, to each their own preference after all... . Different strokes for different folks - I just used AoE4 as an example to make that point.)
Having said all that, I can also say that for any game, as long as I can tell what is going on, and as long as the art-style doesn't directly put me off, I honestly care far more about the gameplay than I do the graphics. There are certain things they need to tidy there in Retold, like pathing, a few bugs, and some statistical QoL features. But for the much larger part, the bread and butter decision-making, timing consciousness, and strategic RTS gameplay, is frickin fantastic!! They made some really great changes to elevate the game over the original. I know some new-comers don't like the chaos invoked by the god powers, but at the end of the day, it says a lot that roughly the same highly-skilled people manage to stay at the top of the leaderboard fairly consistently... . It show that game knowledge, awareness, and skill of execution, are still the things that win you games. Adapting to the chaos is part of the fun that makes AoM so special.
why when these new games come out, the graphics looks like it was made in the 90s. AOE 4 looks so much better than this
