Uhh.. this is literally the 2nd video TH-cam has recommended me regarding unsanitary practices at Chinese buffet. The other one I watched was about this particular one in Miami-Dade with 110 health violations!

My late father was, many years ago, a meter reader for the electric utility in Toronto, Canada. This was back in the days when all meters were inside and in basements. He ALWAYS had horror stories about the filth in Chinese restaurants, especially the smaller, hole in the wall "dumps" downtown. He saw, over the years, dead rats and mice, live rats, mice and insects crawling over vegetable crates, layers of mouse and rat sh*t on floors, live insects clinging to walls, overflowing toilets and even a few dead cats. He always assumed that the dead cats were the next day's Chef's Special. You never know!

I am a delivery driver for the restaurant industry, I have never delivered a Chinese restaurant that I didn’t want to shower after the delivery. Fortunately for me they buy cheap garbage and that business is all but gone.

never eat at a buffet, exepecily the chinese one, they make it cheap so more people can come in, that will be the cost of rat and no cleaning, no profit to hire cleaner and pest control guy.

Here's another one. Years ago, while attending Community College in Toronto, I drove taxi on Friday and Saturday nights. One evening, I received a radio dispatch to pick up a take out order at a Chinese eatery on Danforth Avenue. While waiting at the side kitchen door for the order, I saw two kitchen workers using a pail, situated beside a crate of vegetables, as a urinal. There was lots of "splashing" onto the vegetables. When done, they just "gave it a shake," zipped up and went back to cooking without hand washing. I left without the order and contacted my dispatcher who called the customer. I found out the following week that she was grateful I left without the order. When I called the City Health Department to tell them of what I saw, I was told that over 75% of restaurant cleanliness complaints they receive are for Chinese restaurants.

  • @gypsymom0819

The problem is that Chinese food restaurants don't think a thing about this. This is how they survive in their country and then bring those practices over here. Beware!! You want good clean food preparation then eat Japanese.
