We just had a nanny die 24 hours after delivering two kids so I appreciate the info. They did get the colostrum and milk for the first 12 hours before momma got down. My question is how much do I give them at a time, and how often? They are 3 days old now and seem to be doing fine. But I might be over doing it.
Best way is by checking their bellies and see if they feel full but not tight and never sunken. You can Google feeding charts that will tell you by weight.
