After my grandpa passed my mom kept all the baby goats in the house :) it made her happy. I think 😂 These guys are adorable too 💕 I love seeing what’s up on your farm.
TIP for y'al: I use an old bathmat and it works great. Nonskid, moisture resistant and easy wash. I always enjoy watching the little ones nurse, maternal instinct I guess. Such little darlings. God bless.
Y'all are awesome!!! U was alot nicer than I would of been about the comments about the babies on the the counters. It's your house no one has the right to say what you want to do in your house. I have had about every animal you can think of in my house at one point in time. We love your videos and family!!
I love the way you guy's take care of your baby's goats i have a 3 weeks old who lost her mom she is giving me a had time taking the bottle cuz she misses her mom so much she is eating its just that she don't like taking the bottle and when she do take it she drink only 4 ounces
I use whole cow’s milk and buttermilk plus condensed milk, One cup of each to a gallon of milk Works great and I keep using caluson for the first two weeks just for the boost
So good to see both babies doing well!! Little Miss has got some spunk to be so tiny.😂 Tara I love your "pooper picker upper" adaptation!!! I use my grabber when I'm on the mower to pickup or move small items without having to get off the mower!! Take care of yourself Tara! Moms don't have time to be laid off with an injury!!😅 Stay safe and I look forward to seeing the newest addition!!!
Hi Mark and Tara, I see y’all have become parents again. They are so cute. Mom couldn’t give them the colostrum either? Good idea with the pooper scooper. 🥰
To the Karen's who make negative comments about Tara feeding her babies on the kitchen bench . Being dedicated in the raising of animals that sometimes have special requirements you will do anything in your power to save their lives and if that means keeping them in your house or feeding them on your kitchen bench you do it . All animals lives are important and sometimes you have to look past a few minor inconveniences to save their lives you do it without question .
My name is Karen and I have no objection to an animal on the kitchen counter. I have a small, elder dog and he's on mine regularly to give meds or wipe his eyes. Maybe try not to judge people named Karen? I'm personally so tired of it.
@@the-needle-felter Firstly I was NOT judging you Karen is a colloquialism that is now prevalent in today's general language so I am not the first and certainly won't be the last to use the term . You will have to either learn to cope or If it really offends you go lock yourself in a dark closet and hide away from the world because it looks like Karen is here to stay
Noo are there really people that comment that you feed them on your counter ?for those people : “ get a Life” . I love that you do it this way , they are clean in the house . You have water and soap.
Thats hilarious. People complaing about feeding them on the kitchen counter. 😂😂. Its washable. Just think about what has been on that counter. The raw chicken beef and fish. That counter im sure has had a lot more bacteria on it then a live little goat. Its why they make special anti bacteria cleaner. I want a little goat now. They are so dang cute. First time seeing your channel. Im a fan. You guys are precious.❤❤
Folks look at the pictures back in the 1930 , people living in mud houses and animals in and out regularly Every one was twice as healthy as we are now
When they are born the most important piece is when mom cleans the babies, if rejecting trying addin more of her scent on them(with afterbirth idealy) As the pygmy are smaller I like these instead of redand yellow ones, or the black ones.
New to your channel. My Nigerian babies are being bottle fed I swear the only ones grabbing the bottle are my males my females you have to pry there mouths open and I have 10 of them and more on the way. Last year they didn’t In a pain in the butt
I just received 2 baby's they seem very scared and not interested how long before they should take to the bottel after being taken from Mom they told me they were month and a half but one still has ambilical cord
Morning, ambilical cord should fall off at 8-10 days, can take up to 3 weeks for dried stubb to fall off. They sound too young either way. If taken from mom at a young age they should have been bottle started before pulling off mom as they can be nipple confused. If scared they were not handled, will have to be firm on getting them to drink. They will be on 3 bottles a day at 3 weeks untill weaning. Firm on the bottle, angle the neck as if they were under mom, enlarge the nipple hole so it can dribble in, rub neck to stimulate the swallow reflex.
A lot of patience, first thing is make sure their warm. if they aren't opening their mouth you need to put your finger in the side of their mouth to open. If all else fails, you will likely need to tube feed. Best of luck.
best is off mom, if not then we use goat milk powder from feed store. Cows milk is not high enough in protien which is most common mistake. Source out pwoder goat milk.
@@The10AcreWoods I used that last year and seemed ok but this year every baby got scours on it. Some said the fillers and soy are not digestible for them.We switched to cows milk and heavy cream. S$e seems to tolerate it more.

Animals eat me so we can too, Just know where it comes from and has had a good life. Most of the farm animals are human created for meat and are not meant to live to old age before health issues arise.
Too bad you don't show Blacky. Are you treating her with peniciline for her utter? Most of the time goats start to produce more milk after a little while when they start of slow, so I expect there is more going on? Take care.
Breastfeeding babies(or bottle babies) have yellow poop. Normal as long as not runny. Healthi gut balance, which is why I add Apple cider vinegar to milk
Pure Joy!!! What else could we do? We must find joy in little things, always.
They are so precious. Don't listen to germaphobic busy bodies. You do you! I love those precious little creatures 😍
These babies are so cute. 🥰🥰🥰

They were so adorable, am sure they still are
Yep I’ve done the same thing for 60 years and saving kids just makes sense but it’s a lot of work every 5 hours for two plus months but I enjoy it

So true
Use Extra Large dog poop pads is what I used, just handy and clean
Our two little Nigerian nanny goats had FIVE babies between them... they are going on 4 wks old!!! (Enjoy their videos)
My goat just had her kid 2 days ago
I got to watch the whole birth
They are so cute how long do you bottle feed them for?
They are bottle fed for about 8-10 weeks 😊
I go with 10/11 weeks but depends on that kid and how well it doing
How cute are they??????????????????????????
Lol, I love you guys. Thanks for the video. I'm having an issue with mom rejecting babies. Do you lick those bottles better?

How many millimeters of milk do you give to dwarf goats in two weeks
Depends on milk mixture and how many weeks of age.
❤
I have one I cannot get to take a bottle. What’s the trick?
A lot of patience, first thing is make sure their warm. if they aren't opening their mouth you need to put your finger in the side of their mouth to open. If all else fails, you will likely need to tube feed. Best of luck.
What do baby goats drink?? Where can I get the milk from
best is off mom, if not then we use goat milk powder from feed store. Cows milk is not high enough in protien which is most common mistake. Source out pwoder goat milk.
What do you feed them? ours is half that size and does not want to take the bottle
We feed our bottle babies powdered goat milk replacer .
@@The10AcreWoods I used that last year and seemed ok but this year every baby got scours on it. Some said the fillers and soy are not digestible for them.We switched to cows milk and heavy cream. S$e seems to tolerate it more.
How do you wean a goat from the bottle.
More time in between, make sure they are eating and drinking other oon there own, and gradually get down to one bottle a day and then none.
How often do u feed them
Every 4 hrs, first week. Every 5 hrs 1-3weeks. Then 3 bottlles a day for 2 weeks then twice a day to 8 weeks then to 1 until weaned
Canadian? Northern Michigan?
Canadian, Manitoba
I have 2 babies 3 weeks and few day
Excited for the new arrivals, enjoy while they are little. Grow up fast
What can I feed them
We feed our kid goats powdered goats milk that we regularly have on hand as it is a good choice for all types of baby animals due to it's fat content.
How much do I feed them
Follow directions on formula of course. All depends on age and breed,
message me directly if specific issue tara@anola.mb.ca
Can you advice me?
Sure, what is your question

Yes, Blackie is being treated. We have put her back out with the other animals and will reunite her with the kids when it warms up a bit outside.
This is not any worse than anybody that has cats that crawl over there call over the counters so if that's not any worse than that
And the other ones trying to milk him are you trying to milk your brother 😂😂😂😂 oh😂no😂
Need help 🙏✝️🐐🐐🐐
Can email ne directly if want tara@anola.mb.ca
Goats in the kitchen? No problem. I had a chicken brooder with 28 chicks in it for a month. That is as bad as it gets. Stinky messy little suckers
I'm not being mean but it's yalls house so it's yalls business where you feed the babies and I do not blame you it's easier on the back
