you have to have an open mind. While I agree with you, I also understand what these females are saying too as they're viewing it as a transaction, thus not as bad as someone who is emotionally connected to a person, say a coworker. It all boils down to the definition of cheating and to them, it's an emotional connection...not just physical (as in a cash transaction)

While I’d consider that to be more the norm, it does also happen that after having a couple kids that the husband doesn’t see his wife as a “woman” or “romantic partner” anymore. While I wouldn’t rule that outâ€Ķ just how many Japanese wives in their late 40’s, 50’s and 60’s do you think are having sex regularlyâ€Ķ or even at all? If you don't consider having sex with someone else as cheating, just because there are no feelings involved, then the chances are that you are fine with having sex behind your boyfriend's/husband's back, as long as no feelings are involved. I don't know... It came over to me that japanese women don't care about their men, their men are just providers in their perspective.

@@frafra40 Japanese women are not different than any other women. In general, women think that emotional cheating (having feeleings for other person) is worst than physical cheating (having sex with other person).
Usually men just want to have sex with women. But when men are in love, they want something more, they want to live with them. That's why I think japanese women only care about the men's resources. Because while it is just about sex, their men are not going to leave them for other women. But as soon the guy falls in love with other woman, he becomes way more prone to leave his wife.
Therefore, it comes over to me that japanese women consider japanese men only as providers. Other than that, these guys don't have value. They are allowed to have sex with prostitutes, as long as they continue to provide, that's fine to women.

He and other Japanese TH-camrs ask éĒĻäŋ—ãŊæĩŪ気ですか / Is Fuuzoku uwaki.
Fuuzoku is the closest word from prostitution and uwaki is the closest word from cheating but not exactly same.
If I were asked éĒĻäŋ—ãŊæĩŪ気ですか, I’d probably say “No”.
If I were asked 〝Do you see prostitution as cheating〟I’d definitely say “Yes”
If I were asked 〝Do you think it’s unforgivable that a person who has a partner hires a prostitute〟 in either language, I’d definitely say “Yes” .
However, as an another parson says, there seem to be some people who don’t care that their partner hire prostitute. I know ONE that kind of Japanese woman and she loves her boyfriend very very much. It doesn’t cultural or national thing but personal thing.
Though almost all Japanese people including me consider cheating including hiring prostitution while having a partnar unforgivable, having prejudice on different race / country more unforgivable(Your logic is definitely wrong. There are many people who have cheated many times but don’t forgive their partner’s cheating. There must be vise versa).
In this world, there must be many women who work as prostitute for their family. You shouldn’t assume how they love their partner/family based on how you love.

I think cheating just means something different in Japan to begin with. In the west we seem overly concerned with the physical act of cheating and less so with the emotional side. In Japan however it seems to be the opposite, what might make more sense if you think about it. Since if you have sex with a prostitute purely out of lust, the chance that you will leave your partner is probably way lower than if you fall in love with someone because you have been secretly engaging in deep conversations with someone.

eight reasons why japanese people don't make good friends at all, why none/few of them are trustworthy in fact:
firstly, they make no effort to speak other languages and anyway when we try to speak Japanese, they make fun of our accents and they don't forgive bad pronunciations
Second, they refuse to show their feelings, even if we are polite, kind and respectful. just because they refuse to put us in their friendship circle for some reason (actually it's only when they're drunk, it's shameful)
third, they like to criticize others behind their backs. they judge you without knowing you, they don't give us a chance. they don't tell about our mistakes, how can we improve.

My theory is when they're young they just have sex with a bunch of guys they find physically attractive while falling in love with guys who are nice to them. And end up marrying a financially stable ugly guy.
After getting married they probably feel less sexually and emotionally satisfied because they're used to more attractive men. so they end up cheating.

They’re literally justifying their partners actions and basically saying “yeah go do that, it’s fine” so it invites them to go around paying any prostitute they find and sexually have a thing for, but they’re justified because they’re paying them and “don’t have any feelings” for them. They don’t even know if he does have feelings for her (prostitute) and indirectly, this tells us that if he can do it, then I can do it as well, cause things in an relationship are suppose to go both ways, so they’ll likely go do it or think about it one day as well. It’s pretty sad honestly, but we gotta respect it I guess .

It's not a separation that is occurring naturally in their heads. Japan is still exiting their misogynistic roots and this is a cultural phenomenon that has stuck around. The issue is that Japanese people do not publicly deviate from societal norms. Notice how the women say its not cheating but they don't like it? Because its human nature for people to be possessive of their partners and the average person is not able to separate the idea of sex and feelings. Some of them are almost confused entirely about the concept and contradict themselves in their statements. Men are far hornier than women and this gives them a free pass to cheat on their partners and a way to gaslight them into thinking its ok. When the men say cheating or prostitution is fine, they mean for themselves, not for their girlfriends.

“Deep down, they all want a man that will be loyal and only love them”â€Ķall of the women interviewed have communicated they are literally ok with cheating in some shape or form and none of the women showed any remorse or body language that conflicted with the very statements they gave. ðŸĪ”

There are two aspects as to why I would never tolerate my partner going to a prostitute. The first being the fact that he's paying for rape and/or sexual assault. Most prostitutes have been forced to do what they do or are deep into other problems such as addiction and they do NOT enjoy having sex with random men, who usually mistreat them during the act (there's a lot of research done to prove this so I'm not just stating nonsense). Thus I could never be together with a person who considers it ethical to buy sex from exploited women or men.
The second is the fact that he decides to betray my trust and be with someone else. It doesn't even matter if he's drunk or not, having sex with someone else when you're in a monogamous relationship will always be cheating no matter if you pay for it or not.

I think having sex before marriage in general is bad, but your first point doesn't make much sense. How is the person engaging in these services supposed to know if who they're doing it with has been forced to do it or not? This also depends where in the world it is. I'm sure more women have been forced to do it in America than a country like Australia.

@@life4trinity That's the point, you can never be sure if they want to or not and thus it becomes unethical to try to buy sexual services. There is no such thing as a happy prostitute and several prostitutes have spoken up about their experiences and how they would pretend to be happy and wanting to do what they were doing because if they were all gloomy and sad-looking then no one wanted to buy from them and thus they couldn't afford their rent or their pimp were mistreating them since they wouldn't bring in any money (for human-trafficking victims). True consent can never be achieved when there's money involved.

It would be interesting to hear whether the women you interview think going to "host" clubs is cheating. That's now a significant social problem here in Japan. Many Japanese women have been driven to prostitution to pay the enormous and often fraudulent bills they run up at such clubs. It's pathetic that so many young Japanese woman are so lonesome that they feel compelled to go to such clubs for male companionship. And the men that work at those clubs are often very strange-looking dudes, from what I've seen (scrawny, with lots of makeup and ridiculous hair).

Interesting responses. I think perhaps some girls that don't particularly like sex would be okay with it as that means they don't have to endure doing it with their partner. But yes, it is definitely a harder thing to understand as an outsider. I imagine since cheating is "accepted" in Japan, some of the girls will try not to seem too strongly against it because it is an "accepted norm" even if they wouldn't allow it. I will say though that in America at least, it's not "well-known" but there are definitely a lot of married men that go to チãƒĢã‚Īã‚Ļã‚đ type places because their wives stop wanting to have sex. Not saying it's okay lol because I also think that's weird to be generous...but it's not talked about because people think most éĒĻäŋ— you spot in America is forced prostitution, so it's even more taboo. eight reasons why japanese people doesn't make good friends at all, why none/few of them are trustworthy in fact:
firstly, they make no effort to speak other languages and anyway when we try to speak Japanese, they make fun of our accents and they don't forgive bad pronunciations
Second, they refuse to show their feelings, even if we are polite, kind and respectful. just because they refuse to put us in their friendship circle for some reason (actually it's only when they're drunk, it's shameful)
third, they like to criticize others behind their backs. they judge you without knowing us, they don't give us a chance. they don't tell about our mistakes, how can we improve.
fourth, they feel a non-human need to have many partners for selfish reasons.
Fifth, they treat foreigners like walking dictionaries/wallets
sixth, even though they have many cultural flaws and assume bad things about foreigners, they still fear being criticized by them for some reason, while we do it for a good reason.
Seventh, they easily judge our appearance while it's not our fault we are built like that "buuuuh taller or older foreigners = bad people"
eigth , they refuse to meet people online. and they refuse to invite people into their homes
I love Japan, for what it has naturally, but I don't understand why its people are so well regarded around the world. don't bother me with disingenuous comments like "nyeeeeeh there are people like them all over the world"

Cheating is considered a breach of the marital commitment when it involves breaking the promise of faithfulness and loyalty expressed . The vow to "forsake all others" and remain faithful to one's partner is fundamental . Therefore, engaging in any form of emotional or physical infidelity, going against the commitment to exclusivity and fidelity, would typically be seen as a violation of those vows. The interpretation of what constitutes cheating may vary between individuals and cultures, but it generally involves betraying the trust and commitment made to one's spouse.

Can't get past the judeo-xtian idea of a spouse as chattel, huh?
There is no same cultural norm for "breaking the promise of faithfulness and loyalty expressed" in Japan because you don't make such vows in any legal or socio-cultural form. You don't get married at a wedding. That's just a *format* for a party to celebrate the *actual* marriage: completing a form at the local town office and paying the 1500 yen fee to register as married and swapping names across family registers.

At one place I worked, both the husband and wife that owned the business had lovers that they kept at apartments in town and would visit 1-2 times a week. They were happily married to each other, with 3 kids. They *stayed* happily married, despite knowing full well about each others partners, *because* they both made sure they played the game the way Japanese society says they should. Worked perfectly fine for them.

The girls in the green and red made me disappointed and hopeful at the same time. Is it yes that they do cheat? And yet they still think it’s wrong to cheat? That’s so backwards. Unless that’s a translation errorâ€Ķ but yeah
I dunno why they don’t think prostitution is not cheating just because of money. That’s just odd
I think another cool question to ask girls next time. What do they look for in a relationship? And if they say exclusivity. Then ask again if it’s ok if their mate went out to a prostitute would they cut it off? Cause that would mean that all that exclusivity is out the window.
Do they even value a mutually exclusive relationship?
If they are ok with their partner going out to a prostitute then should just make it an open relationship if that’s the case

okay the facts are- (I m a psychology student)
    1. men take cheating and prostitution lightly because the women don't wanna leave them for that
    2. Even if I would be given a partner who would not breakup with me even when I cheat on him with an excuse that I PAYED FOR IT AND IT HAS NO EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT
    3. technically men respect women only with words not with their hearts and that's bcz the even women don't respect themselves and keep themselves as first choice, if they would be willing to choose to breakup, the guy would never put his happy and peaceful love relationship on stake and would fight against his lust.
conclution- if japanese women will get more serious about boundaries and self respect, no Japanese men will be able to hurt them. Now I as woman don't think that they wont be hurt when their man will sleep with another woman even if its a prostitute, right? ignoring your pain to save a relationship will never give you pure joy of romance.

If you find out you're being cheated on, and fidelity is a non-negotiable virtue for you, save yourself the trouble and just leave. Don't fight them, don't let them explain; assume and accept that it's just who they are if it's a repeated offense. If it is their first time, that is who they will be from now on. Very few outliers get past their cheating habits, so don't compromise your non-negotiables for something less unless you have a genuinely indisputable valid reason to stay together.
Someone who doesn't want to cheat will not put themselves in situations that make it easier for them to get tempted. Infidelity is seldom accidental, and those instances that do occur are likely related to assaults and abuse.
For those who cheated and are actually remorseful, and are doing their best to stay faithful with either their new partner or the same partner that forgave them, keep it up! Don't do it anymore please! It hurts to be betrayed.

@@user-op3tg9vg5u look at it this way, if having many wives or husbands (for various reasons like variety...), work in a family situation, it would be much more common than a tiny minority trying to convince the vast majority that that is the way to go, right? in the case of "service providers", let's face it, no matter how good looking your wife is, there is always somebody younger, prettier, sexier and willing to do anything for a fee... furthermore, even if you were able to have wagyu any which way every dinner, i have yet to meet a person that consumes it every meal with enthusiam after a year.... let alone 20.... believe me, buddy... i have done it for 25 and it takes discipline....
so, was i ever tempted to have fish occasionally? of course! but you have to ask yourself: is it worth the risk to potentially jeopardize your entire life and family just for a few thrills? nothing is worth the stampeding wagyu and subsequent grief of a broken family. besides, you can always try different things with the wagyu....
cheating happens because the relationship never transcended to the mental level. it is a cold hard fact that eating wagyu everyday is going to be tedious at best for both parties.... but a committment to intertwine and pool your resources was made.... for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part... make it happy no matter what.... there is no try...

what if a man went to a brothel because he was afraid if he did what he wanted to his current gf she might feel he is disrespecting her and end the relationship, since most don't actually openly say what they want sexually, out of fear,

its kinda stupid to think that a guy who realy loves you cheates on you just bc of his desires
the idea behind cheating is deeper than a sexual desires
cheating represent that there's no true connection
    think about it

It more shows the lack of empathy. As in, doing something for instant gratification, that you know will hurt the person you love. But you care more about your own desires than hurting the person you love. That is the sign of a psychopath/narcissist/sociopath.

What wrong these women who said that they man having sex with another person is not cheating. Yes it is even if u give him permission. Ur just telling him it’s ok to do it openly in ur face. If u or the person ur in a relationship with go out of the relationship with another person it’s cheating. It doesn’t matter that she is a prostitute

Many questions arise from this topic. Ask the girls this, Question 1. If your boyfriend paid your friend for sex is that ok? Whats the difference between a prostitute and your friend?. Question 2. What is the minimum accepted to be considered a prostitute and not cheating? Would that same amount include your friend for sex?

City life sounds like ðŸ’Đ life if you looking for someone that wants Marriage. Good video æ—Ĩ朎よよマさん. I did want to add this. Some people do have their own definition of cheating in my view if you are talking to another person if you are in a established boyfriend & girlfriend relationship and your dating or talking to someone else behind close doors that is 100% Cheating in my view.

The women also cheat. Japanese housewives are known to visit host bars to have s3x with male gigolos, while their husbands go to 'soap houses' and prostitutes.

I find it really interesting that how the japanese are thought of being way more regimented, repressed, etc. , Yet the comments show that Americans at least the majority of those who commented, are way more uptight, narrow minded, narcasistic/self centered, insecure.

Ive seen a few of these videos where women seem to not consider prostitution as cheating and the men in the comment sections being disturbed by this because they fear the women will also do the same. Well, in general women are more concerned about emotional betrayal than sexual. Since men don’t connect with sex in the same way women do(emotionally) many women won’t care if he has sex outside of the relationship as long as he’s providing for the family and coming home at night. 😂

What do you they mean by no feelings behind. So are they saying if they sleep with someone else that there is no feelings behind. The person literally feels like sleeping with someone else. That is a total disrespect to the relationship.
