    Exploding tracks is making it so much easier to make beats on mpc and then make the whole song on GarageBand.. or Ableton in the future. Great tutorial for a beginner. Thanks

    FLAC is a lossless format meaning its an uncompressed container. I use it for one shots. When you spread a one shot across the keygroups they have a sweet spot and then start breaking up. You want all the data you gan pack to stretch it a little further. OGG is useful as well. Good series

    • @SOO100BRAND
      @SOO100BRAND 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have samples in the same program and they are on separate tracks, The Separate program option will put hem all on one file. I suggest Explode tracks option because it will look at the tracks independently of the program and name the stem the same name of the track. Thats the files I would archive and deliver for tracked out leases.

    Thanks so much for your passion . Your music sound good. I been doing my songs in standalone but when I get to the MPC software and I use a vst or plugin it won't play those actions when I go back in to standalone. Why is that. I feel if I'm in the software and use a vst or a plugin, why won't it play in standalone mode. Could you do a video on that for me . Please . You understand this. Some things I gotta be shown. If I knew you I'll probably be at your house everyday trying to learn. You explain stuff well. Thanks

    I actually tried this on my MPC studio and got frustrated. I tried both process. I created a acoustic drum kit and set it up as a program . I did File/Export/ As MIDI , and then tried Edit/ track etc. in one part I was able to get the list of separate instruments in the midi track view but I was missing my cymbals witch still show on the pads. In MPC 2 and the 1st version I could go into as midi file and I would actually go check the Explode track box and it would actually work and I was able to transfer it to studio One. I'll try it again 🤷🏾‍♂️

    I NEED HELP!!! I'm "exploding" the track for my drums to be separated then I "create folder" to make them all separate tracks... It IS separating my Bass from everything but it is keeping my "Synth/Piano" on the same track as my drums and the drums are all still together?!? I did everything just as you said here and NOTHING is working... PLEASE HELP!!!

    • @dospal

      I think the drums isn't exploding because MPC beats is limited to only 8 tracks, so if exploding the tracks will give you more than 8 tracks, it just won't explode them.

    Dude, here’s a question for all y’all (as a great American teacher I once had explained the versions of that saying so we’d understand what she was on about!🙂. So how do I convert a midi track that I made when my current sequence was only 32 bars long, but now I have made it 64 bars but the midi track now does a 32 bar loop. How do I make it 64 so I can just go pencil on the timeline?🤘🏽I’m gonna post this on TubeDigga too as I reckon more MPC-folk will likely have been here and are now as in love with this fine machine as I am!💥

    How do I in song mode export the MIDI of a whole track?, cause when I export MIDI of a track it exports just one secuence in MIDI, I need that track being exported as MIDI but the whole track, not just one secuence of that track

    Is it possible to control the MPC with the DAW - so the song is saved into the hardware from the DAW in real-time? Or do you have to first export stems from DAW and arrange it on the hardware afterward

    thanks man. I made my first beat with following your videos.. MPC is a bit confusing at first but cool once you a hang of it especially with Sequence, tracks, programs (could be kit, plugin vst etc).. I believe it has a 8 tracks limitation.
    But i have question.. I have exploded a drum track in a sequence and I want to use the hi hats track from this sequence into another sequence.. not sure how to do that ???

    Great video, thank you! You go through exporting by song. Do you know if there's a way to bulk explode a folder of projects to get their stems?When going through hundreds of beats it's really time consuming. Alternately, does the MPC Beats software support exporting stems for multiple songs in one click?
