One thing that is critical about Amira is her natural personality and her complete comfort on a large stage.. Right from the start. This Christmas concert happens in Reykjavik every December. I had just discovered Amira online earlier that year 2015 and made a last minute decision to fly to Iceland (from Ireland not too far or expensive) for this concert to hear Amira. The whole concert was gorgeous, the Icelandic people lovely, and Iceland in the snow, the landscape mesmerizing. Amira sang two songs and wowed the audience, and looked stunning in that dress which her mother had made for her. Certainly a night to remember..

Not only singing from the bottom of her heart….. also giving from the bottom of her heart…….from the start of winning Holland Got Talent, she gave part of her gage for children to play in Africa. And also at young age, in 2014 ( than she is only 10 year of age ) She startend her OWN foundation 🍀 gelukskinders 🍀, she gives her concert money for 2 playgrounds for children each year. This year she will become 18, and is planning the 18’ playground. That makes her so happy and so beautifull. ( And me too )

Amira has sung the Ave Maria several times over the years in versions by Gounod/Bach (Latin lyrics), William Gomez (Spanish lyrics), and Caccini/Vavilov (lyrics with just the expression "Ave Maria"). This duet singing Gounod/Bach version was with the great Icelandic tenor Gissur Páll Gissurarson, who in the two previous months had participated in the opera The Barber of Seville.
