- Welcome to our last day in India! :( We continue to cruise around Mumbai and take a ferry over to Elephanta Island and explore ancient caves. Afterward we have a very lovely and authentic dinner and learn some saree tying skills from Vijay's family.

I watched all of your videos in this series. You seem to have had a decent trip and a lovely guide. But to see India properly, you need at the least 3 months of your time. The ancient chola temples of Tamil Nadu, Badami Temples of Karnataka, Wildlife in Nilgiris, Back waters and mountain trains of Kerala, Rich tribal culture of Meghalaya, Manipur, and other parts of North Eastern India. The holy cities of Varanasi, Tirupati, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Madurai, Mathura, Haridwar and more. The rafting on River Ganges in rishikesh, The cold desert of Ladakh, The beautiful city of Srinagar and lush meadows in Kashmir valley, The himalayas. The hill stations like Shimla, Kulu, Manali, Darjeeling, Ooty, Kodaikanal. The Thar Desert, Floating National Park of Manipur. Its a vast, diverse, multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-religious historic land. Its called subcontinent for a reason.
The biggest takeaway from a trip to India is that India gives a striking example of a futuristic democracy of a thousand languages, hundred ethnicities, diverse cultures, tens of religions, coexisting under one Nation with a humongous population of 1.25 billion people. After 200 years of economic deprivation by British that turned the then richest country of the world into the poorest by 1947, Its this experiment we embarked on 70 years ago, of a diverse Nation with extreme poverty and managed to be a thriving democracy. There is no Democracy in true sense other than India between Israel to Japan. That's the takeaway I would want a visitor to realise after visiting my country INDIA.

Although I live in Delhi but Mumbai is also one of my favorite cities in India.
They were both honestly so amazing. While Mumbai ended up being my favorite, a lot of my friends preferred Delhi. It's such a tough call, you guys have so many beautiful cities!

Absolutely awesome video series. BTW I just want to tell you or you might observed that India has a lots of variety in food. Not just variety in taste be many option economically. You can have food for just ₹10 to any amount you can pay. This gives the options to every part of the society and mostly nobody sleeps empty stomach.

If you are visiting another Indian city visit Shimla in the himalayas . The temperature over here is around 14°C . It was british capital for british raj in India ( India , Bangladesh , Pakistan , Myanmar )
