It’s basically an admission of guilt that leftists are psychos and violent and rationalize it by inventing villains in their head like homelander. They literally think homelander is a 1:1 of Donald Trump. That’s the most revealing thing about the show.

In the Boys comic it all lead up to Vought finally managing to get their puppet into the Whitehouse after Dakota Bob (someone who was against Vought and had Vought agents undermining him) had an accident. Only for it to be ruined be Homelander taking out their puppet, leading to finally having Vought send Black Noir after him. Vought didn't take out Homelander for all the bad thing he did, they were fine with it but only when he hurt their bottom line that they finally went against him.
Vought basically are the true villain and the f up heroes are just a symptoms of the real problem. Supe are a enemy you can beat with enough force and brute strength but Vought a major corporation with lots of resource, men, and equipment. You can't brute force Vought. They are a giant corporation with their hand in everything, with a small army on top of their supe, who paying off everyone in power, has hundreds of lawyer that can stall any legal action, as well as is manipulation everything thought the media.

They used to make fun of both sides so in a way it was like Southpark. Somewhere along the way in late S2 early S3 they decided to pretty much never make fun of the left again. There's pretty much no jokes at the lefts expense in S4 and the jokes on the right are just so on the nose it feels like intentional lecturing. They really just had the finale happen during Jan 6th and they brought it up constantly.

The Boys has been awful this season. Most of the male characters are portrayed as beta males and there's way too much gay stuff overall. It's just way too hyperbolic. Many of the characters themselves add absolutely nothing to the storyline and could be written out of the show entirely without sacrificing what little coherent storyline is left. I'm talking about Frenchie, and Mothers Milk specifically. About the only enjoyable part of the season so far was when Starlight showed us her naked ass. ;)

one of the big reasons the propaganda (cause it's not even political comedy) doesn't work is because they are parodying things that aren't real. conspiracy theories, blatant lies, so on and so forth.
so the only people who enjoy it are the idiots who think the things they are parodying are actually real.
the show was degrading in quality since the first season ended, and it was only popular at first because "its' game of thrones in DC" was essentially the pitch. aka, shock value. which, big news here, shock value doesn't last.
the third, and fourth seasons have become almost entirely propaganda, making fun of rape (when it happens to men), and gore and nudity. the plot has been nonsensical for a while, characters assassinated ages ago, there is no story anymore.

I love how the Goldokin kids are now crossed over, I love what they did with Kamiko, I love what they’re doing with this show and I PRAY it doesn’t get too woke because right now it’s the got the perfect blend IMO of leftism, right leaning values, and leaves room for those in the middle.
