Lupin is quite the globetrotter generally, however part 4 is primarily in Italy, so the theme takes some Italian references. The OG version of this song is from Part 2, and it's very James Bond.
I'm not a big fan of the version from part 4, but it's nice to see this legendary series get some recognition. Lupin III is pretty often overlooked, despite being an absolute classic.
The original version of this was written by Yuji Ohno for Part II, Season 1 which released in 1978. Lupin the Third is divided into Parts and each can have one or more Seasons. The version for Part II, Season 4 is also quite good IMO. It is also by Yuji Ohno and was written in 1980. Your ears picking out that 70s sound is spot on.
I think this is a proper reaction with you dresses as Super Mario! Btw Lupin is an absolute classic in Italy. Maybe the younger generations don't know much about it but he was very popular during the 80s and he kept being very popular even between those who were born in the 90s like myself because they kept airing replicas and movies all the time on TV. Italy was the first country to introduce anime in Europe in the mid 70s, shortly followed by France. Traditionally the Italian openings for anime have always been remade from scratch and sung in Italian and they always had incredible musicianship. Between the 70s and the early 90s we had a lot of folk, prog rock, funk and fusion inspired theme songs, while in the 90s a couple of authors became very popular doing the openings for stuff like Pokémon and Dragonball in a italodisco/dance music style that then became the standard for the next decades. Lupin had a few different openings in Italy, but the classic one is "Lupin - fisarmonica", that is a waltz for voice and accordion that is absolutely heart-warming.
I was looking through your videos to see if this track in particular was done and man, I'm glad to see it! I love this track so much. There are a couple of live performances out there on TH-cam and you can tell how much fun it is for the band to play.
By chance, on my interwebs travels, I happened upon this channel just trying to jam out to some Lupin the 3rd musics. I dig it, cheers brothaman 🍻 Watching others listen to a song for the first time and enjoying it really brings out that magic and feeling of one's own first time listen
Man, Lupin III is so good. I'd wish some of the mondern anime series would take a good look at it and figure out what makes a good anime, nowadays there's just so much "Einheitsbrei" (our German word for a generic, uniform mishmash^^)
Hey, I just discovered your channel. I dont know if you’ve done it already but you could react to the opening of the anime « Death note ». The intro has a rockish style and this anime is one of the most popular anime. Even the other songs of this anime are masterpiece.
Can you please react to the main theme of Detective Conan too? Lupin the 3rd, Cowboy Bebop, Detective Conan in no particular order are my top 3 anime if I would pick for the music. Also, the original Lupin the 3 theme is really good too, and my other favorite is the 2021 version with the electric guitar!
"Камерный оркестр "В-А-С-Н". К.Хаттака, К.Кайясто - Max Payne Theme" Please watch this video on youtube. It is probably the saddest music in the video games i've ever heard

The Lupin theme song is one of my favorites no matter which version it is its always a jam
Lupin the third is a world renowed thief and master of disguise, decendant of the thief Lupin hence "the third" tittle, its quite the series.

Lupin is such a classic series. It’s always great to see Geebz get surprised by the genre/instrument shifts.
Now you just gotta listen to the original ;3 Lupin III '78

I can see the Shaft-ness for sure hehe
Ever heard Tsuki to Taiyou no Meguri? From one of the Lupin anime movies. Great track!
I wonder If composer of legendary Cowboy Bebop anime was inspired by Lupin 3?
Good shit as always

Check out the Howling Abyss theme from League of legends! It's haunting 🙏
You should react to the Hiroyuki Sawano/Project emu "attack on titan suite"
Could you please react to the _AKIRA_ soundtrack?
Hello Geebz, can you make a react about death stranding songs?
Is this the right place to recommend venetian snares - hajnal. It's pretty cool
