Great run, although I don't really understand this ending being the "bad" ending. Maybe a little bittersweet, but it seems like a rational decision to the dystopia that is Blackreef
the world is destroyed. you're essentially destroying the remnants of a "good world" and killing your daughter in the process. its "bad" because its done for selfish means.
I mean clipping through shit is pretty common, also this uses the same engine as Dishonored 2 so IG a lot of the glitches in that can be used here as well.
Deathloop released in September 2021, too late for Summer GDQ and too soon for the minor speedruns events in the last months of the year since they need some time to evaluate if the game is "worthy" to be featured. So this was the right time I suppose
Commenting before i finished the video... Its cool to have DEVs a part of the runs but doesn't that take away from the overall discovery? If a dev intentionally added a "skip" it makes it feel like it isnt authentic

really enjoyed this run live. great commentary.
Glad you enjoyed!
This run was pure chaos in the best of ways.
"the runt" is definitely the funniest fetch quest in history.

The best ending is where you kill no one I believe. Freeing everyone from the loop

The game dialogue is newly the same level
As the commentary and it’s very confusing
That is the good ending. Unless you mean some sort of ending where no one dies is good.
Great run
I love this damn game so much
Welcome to kickloop
Wow this game looks rad, can't believe I haven't heard of it before
Iirc it was kind of a buggy Bethesda mess when it launched which really killed a lot of its momentum.
Its pretty great. Its the worst from the developer tho. Prey 2017 and Dishonored are even better. I recommend them all 😁
im surprised you didnt since sony shoved this game in peoples faces for a long time
Classy. Here, have a cup of tea.
How did someone figure out the safe skip...?
If you watch the ign developers react to deathloop runs, im pretty sure internal qa team discovered alot of stuff and its explained

Sometimes I'm thinking they're throwing AI at it, to figure out these glitches before actually doing the speedrun
First Person Games are often very broken, i doubt this was the first of its kind
Multiple community members, some out of the box thinking, and many attempts
It's a shame that the game has mandatory mouse acceleration, because I really liked the gameplay
I'm sorta surprised this hasn't been done sooner
It hasn’t been out very long

Game just came out a few months ago
Like when? This game got released in September. This was the first mainline GDQ event since then.
How?
The game came out in September and GDQ was last month
Nice

Good thing i didn't spend 60$ on this game.
