- Inscryption is such a strange, weird little game, and the speedruns for it don't help it make any more sense. So ride along with Daniel Mullins (the creator of Inscryption), and Kevin Saxby (Luke Carder, Inscryption), as they watch and react to an amazing Moon% and Act 3% speedrun of the game. act 3 of the game made me wish there was a different world for each of the 4 characters with their own gimmicks. and you had to beat like all 4 in order to unlock a secret ending.
Somewhat like, depending on your choices in act 2, the "master" of act 3 would change, perhaps except Leshy, and each part would give you a segment of a code of sorts, which you then can use to unlock the ending?
That was the original plan, Daniel cut it for time

Daniel looked like he actually enjoyed watching the speedrun instead of most devs horrified at their games breaking. He couldn't stop smiling and laughing throughout that cluster of chaos in act 3 this is too wholesome.
As long as it doesn’t ruin the game small glitches and bugs are fun
To be fair the game has ouroboros in it, it's like, begging people to break it as part of normal gameplay lol

That it is even slightly possible to win the first run, against all the impossible insanity, just blows my mind.
It's even possible to do glitchless with a flying 3 power mantis, because the Mantis attacks over the bears for the 6 damage needed for a win
@@siegfried1422 Not really, the 'too fast. too soon' bears have the anti flying sigil so they stop flyers. You need scissors to do it or a poison mantis.

Leshy would be sad because all the lore and story was skipped, Po3 would be happy because it was maximum efficiency

It gets it to ascension quicker. More speed runs means more people getting seeing the game and buying copies.
the poison mantis has two purposes. One being the moleman/moon, the other being as a replacement for scissors. Since it's bifurcated it can get rid of a grizzly to make way for the 5 dmg wolf's attack. (or child 13 + bifurcated wolf) if it's placed one column to the left
The speedrun went too fast that it overran the reactors’ time to process causing the technical difficulties.
Thats the game itself directly interfering with reality...

The mouse movement makes it obvious that it isn’t TAS, so this guy (runner) is insane

Act 3, he auto wins the boss battle because I’m p sure the game doesn’t know how to handle reading both battles at once. I’m sure he gets into one battle and ignores it as he runs into a boss and he exits and reloads maybe to keep the game from crashing as more battles are triggered?
I’m also fairly certain they load the upgrades into existence and move away or something before it locks them so they can do the events while waiting for damage to resolve during mandatory fights
The reload seems to be to trigger the proper win script and reset the cache of the game so that future glitches don't crash the game. Basically just reloading though so the game saves that he won the battle.
Do you know why he seems to do certain battles still?
There should be a Loot Carder % where you have to watch all the videos from start to finish asap. Like Sign% in SM64.

That was a fun video. The only thing that wasn't fun was the sheer number of unskippable ads that kept interrupting it, which made it even harder to follow than it already was.
that's why they put an other power to the moon, the insensibility to death touch, now you can't kill the moon with this.
*On Kacee's mod lol they left all the broken stuff in the base game, just fixed it for Kacee's mod runs
Ya Kacee's mod is the only thing updated. You can still do a lot of those crazy combos in the single player version. Some of the glitches are fixed though. The bad ones anyway.
Its cool to see that despite being a musician, Moby is also a great developer

Luke carder%: after beating the game, go to the camera and watch all of the Luke carder segments back to back without skipping
