Thanks for sharing this. The details on the MOCs were incredible. I use to ride the BNSF Metra train for years and it was a terrific MOC as well all the others,
There are two companies that sell those larger radius curves: BrickTracks and TrixBrix. The larger radius curves are needed for the trains to run smoothly around the corners.
The skills in these builders is absolutely incredible, always wondered why LEGO made a line of trains, sure they have the high speed set they release every few years or something, but nothing says everything needs to be a functional set, just sell a fricking caboose or something, just the steam engine, etc. Seems LEGO is mostly interested in doing licensing sets, and when they do go off and try to do their own thing... well we get things like Stuntz, and Dreamzzz, and lets not forget Vidiyo
This track looks plastic and probably custom as Lego doesn't make these radius curves. The power source is probably Power Functions which is battery powered. I prefer the old 9V system but that is getting harder to find and they don't make the motors anymore so they're expensive also.
That's some amazing work around the river, the bluff, and the two bridges. So well done!

I am blown away by how far Legos have evolved. This is awesome! New subscriber to the channel.

Amazing train collection and MOC. Special shoutout to the Yuengling refrigerator cars!

Where do you get the long sweeping curve pieces?

Awesome!!!!
The green GP9 on 15:08 is my favorite
is it always at chicago?
Looks good 👍
2 rail power ? or where does the power source come from?

Power Functions, Powered Up, etc...all in train power since the rails are all plastic on the layout.
Fx Bricks makes Fx Track, which offers the old 9v style track in multiple larger radii
Great
