Join us for a stroll around Craigmillar Castle!
Located 3 miles South-East of Edinburgh's city centre, lies this incredible medieval ruin. The original tower house structure dates from the 1300s and stands 17m tall.
There are many nooks and crannies to explore within this castle and panoramic views to behold from the top. Craigmillar Castle is also a cheaper and less crowded than the famous Edinburgh Castle but equally fascinating.
Mary Queen of Scots, also spent time at Craigmillar in 1566.

Nice I got stuck in Craigmillar after closing time once. didn't hear the yelling. ended up climbing the back wall just behind the gate to get out.
