@@Solumd KH as in the Kingdom Hearts series. In some of the games (mainly 2FM and 3 Re:Mind), bosses have a mechanic dubbed Revenge Value (RV for short) by the community. What it does is that humanoid bosses, once you hit an opening, have a certain number of hits they'll take before retaliating and breaking out of the combo. So part of the strats in these fights revolve around optimizing which combo modifiers and other combat options you use in order to deal the maximum amount of damage before they retaliate and reset to neutral, as it were.
