Anyone remembers a music video of Comet, with parts of a teen tv show (friends becoming lovers) ?
I think this video has been deleted, and I can't remember the show's name :/
I remember we can see the boy and the girl dancing both in a room (not a solo, but 'disco music'?), there are no other teens in the clips used, also there are at least 4 words in title of the show, and if I remember right, the style is a bit "retro" (90's maybe)
I can't remember if it's a fantasy, a sci-fi, or a regular show ; probably drama.

Look y'all, I graduated in 85. I grew up with this music, and never left it behind. Oh, my tastes expanded, sure, but New Wave music, especially synth-driven, is the cornerstone, the first music that truly moved me, and I've never stopped loving it. And I promise you, all you younger folks, that feeling you get when you hear something new from The Midnight? That's EXACTLY what it felt like in 1984.

@kokam2 Monsters was trash compared to their previous catalog. They got away from their roots.
@@green1982 they needed to experiment. Endless Summer and Nocturnal are fantastic albums, but if they did these same types of songs every album there would be no variety and it would get pretty stale.

Help me take a jab at what the story is here folks. Is this about a guy wanting to be with a former love but they’re not longer together. She now has an atmosphere around her that is separating them. He wants to go back in time and forget all the worldly trash separating them. And that perhaps in the roll back of time they didn’t meet yet which would be better than the pain of being apart after having had each other? Just a couple guesses

We need more Tim McEwan vocals in future albums. I fell in love with Synthetic when I heard his emotions, or lack there off, in his voice. His voice reminds me of Ollie Wride. It's like with the band Night Traveler, Hunter Glaske's voice brings out that 80s Bryan Adams vocals, yet he's not the lead vocalist. Please, more Tim McEwan or even better, duets.

Whenever I listen to these kinda retro sound songs, I always wish that I could go back to the 70s or 80s times. Because I feel that life in the present times is so shitty & disappointing. 😔 As per my perception, in the 70s and 80s, life was simple and all that mattered to one-self was to be in love and thereby enjoy life. 🥲 These songs and the movies of tht era bring tht feeling to me everytime.

Been a huge fan for a long time. Somehow I only recently stumbled upon this on spotify, I guess because It was a bonus track with the anniversary edition of Endless Summer. Deep Blue, Prom Night and Lightyears use to hover around as my favourite three songs... but Comet EASILY took first place the instant I heard. I just love this song so much. Thankyou! I appreciate the effort, heart and soul you put into your music!
