How do you go about setting up the frames, (x,y,z) so the cutter can "see" the surfaces? Or do you just need one work offset and Mastercam does frames automatically? Thanks!
Blade Expert does all the heavy lifting for you, it can create the planes it needs on its own. To do this part outside of Blade Expert, yes there would be some plane creation and/or toolpath transformations to be done.
Blade Expert does require a 5 axis machine. I do not believe you can force it to output only 4. To get the full use out of an addin like this, you would want to be using a 5x machine. The toolpath itself must be purchased separately in the full version of Mastercam. But it is available in the HLE version so you can see how it works.

If you have a Mastercam license you can find a similar file in the Tech Exchange. Grabcad also had a lot of different impellers you can download.
