Love this ! That looks like great fun and Little competition never hurt! This channel made me finally try drifting by the way… and I do not regret it! Cheers
Just found your channel but ive been binge watching all your videos 😂 just got an mst rmx and have been trying my hardest to get it tuneed for street drifting with no luck but it will haappen!
@@RoadsideRC thank you!!! My main one would be tips for getting used to the gyro and knowing if it's too high or too low if you have no prior experience or know how it's supposed to feel
@@RoadsideRCquestion about rims and tires. So I will mainly be using this on asphalt and I wanted to get different rims and tires. The rims I want are Neon Pink GRAMLIGHTS 57D Rims and VALINO GV330 R-SPEC 7mm 26mm RIMS and the tires are Yokomo DRA Competition Drift tire for Asphalt Surface (ZR-DRA) are all of these compatible with each other?
I need that e30 touring body for my rwd TT01. Subscribed. Watched a lot of your videos lately. Thinking of getting the 1/18 RX7. Looks like a fun car to get into drifting with proper steering angle.
I have a question about gearing. My Sakura has a 3.0:1 transmission, my motor is a HW G2 3650 10.5 Motor. HW says this motor is good for an FDR 5.0:1 to 8.0:1. With stock spur and pinion with Trans ratio, that gives me 9.96fdr. how bad would this be? I know Sakuras gear chart using a stock 83t spur would require me to use a 32t pinion for an FDR of 7.78:1. Or I could go to a 85t spur and a 32t pinion for a FDR of 7.97:1? My 10bl120 allows boost, turbo, timing and delays...how would you adjust the gearing to suite boost and turbo? 85tS/32tP 83tS/32tP. In getting back into the hobby again and I'm not trying to catch fire any recommendations?
Hi there! Don't over think this. The Hobbywing chart is referencing situations like racing - not specifically for drifting. You can disregard it. Your chassis should have come with a pinion and spur gear in the box. Use that as a starting spot. Then - tune the pinion up and down depending on the size of your track and needed wheel speed. It really is rather simple. Changes in spur gear make very little difference, so just focus on the pinion. Turbo and boost give you incrementally more wheel speed, so may allow you to run a smaller pinion. Again - just a tuning tool for you.
Love the little games we can play with the drift cars! Awesome video Troy!
Thanks! It is a blast - and happy the LHS supports it with giveaways.
What games do you typically do?
