In 00:57 you made a mistake. U pointed a gun on a race giver which is a different programmed npc. In the far cry 6 footage u pointed your gun at friendly fighters. It would be the right comparison if u pointed jason's pistol on a rakyat warrior

FC3 is by far the best FC game ever made. Best setting. Best characters. Best Story. Everything about the game is amazing even by today's standards. 👌💯
@@chips4582 I disagree. I Own almost all the FC games including 3 and 5 and I prefer 3 over 5 all day. The graphics in 5 were good but I liked the story and ambiance of 3. Vaas was one of the best villains in any game ever made. Loved how tropical FC3 was over the bland landscape of Montana in FC5.
I played as female Dany and she was humming the tune of the song that played during the tobacco burning mission as I rode on horseback to the next mission.
Remember: A good portion of FC6 is ported from FC5. Bits of takedown animations (One cover takedown has the animation from FC5 when you drag them over, then it switches to the Machete takedown) some sounds, some details, physics, etc. The NPCs in 6 reacted exactly the same to a gun pointed at them than they would in 5.

If I understand correctly the only reason you can’t open it is if the car is full of air, the pressure of the water pushing on the door would be enough to stop you from opening it. What forces would stop you if the car is full of water to begin with. In this time span I’d imagine it would pretty much be impossible but it could happen. This is what happens when you use the same game engine for over a decade. FC6 has more texture detail, but FC3 (and even FC2) look and behave better in some ways.
Far cry 6 looks really good on ps5 and for the most part it’s the same formula but they cleaned up a lot of the problems like the companions. Glad it’s only animals and don’t have to hear the same dialogue over and over. The wing suit feels a lot smoother and can travel greater distances. Helicopters and planes are back. Map is incredibly huge love that and overall the story is way better. You actually talk this time.
@Luke Clifton Cause its not Far Cry, Far Cry is suposed to be a first person experience and you are suposed to get to know the protagonist through the way that They react to certain things, as you play through their eyes, in a Far Cry you should only have a breif idea of how your character looks and then after that They tell their story though the way They speak and the things They do and how they react to them, the cutscenes in Far Cry 6 just look like cutscenes from the new Assassins creed games👎🏻, and if They would have stayed with first person cutscenes They could have made the story cutscenes look way better, cause right now the third person cutscenes look pretty rough to be honest. Just imagine how much more dramatic the boat slaughter scene in Far Cry 6 could have been if they chose to have it in first person.

@@SL1CEND1CEN dude I had a high point and an akm that seemed like they were going to live forever. The high point I literally lost in the woods only to find it while clearling some fallen trees. The fucker still worked! If it was explain that the guns are crappy Chinese knock offs yeah. But you would almost certainly find at least one spring, pin, or bolt that is good enough quality to keep your most important tool from failure.
The jamming is great until you had to do it for the 5th time in the same battle. I guess it make sense in that game and ngl jamming is pretty cool but boy I hope I never have to unjam a gun that much again!

I'm really enjoying this one seriously ubi, way better than 4 and 5, but there are some unforgivable stuff like the skin shop, the AI and the lack of progression through skills
One of the main things I'm worried about. Lack of skills. The gear is supposed to make up for it, but what if you have a certain build and your clothes look ridiculous? But you cannot change them because it would take away abilities?
yeah fc3 is great and all but the lack of certain QoL ( quality of life ) features makes it less enjoyable than fc4 for me, because of that i rate fc3 slightly lower than fc4
the malaria exist only to pad out game play time. Driving sections are made so much more unbearable because of it. as much as i love gun jamming and Bus fast travels, nobody will miss malaria.
Playing Far Cry 3 at 60fps on Series S actually makes them extremely similar in terms of visuals. Kind of nuts actually. Goes to show the effort to detail Ubisoft has always put into Far Cry games. They're all almost timeless.

The A.I in 6 is insane. One second you can be infiltrating one of Castillo’s bases and the next a random horse will come in and destroy everything. Or you’ll be wondering around and a random alligator will be eating someone
Everyone keeps complaining about how they never change the formula but the truth is if they changed it the game wouldn’t be far cry anymore I like that each game they add a new environment and plenty of new content this game honestly feels polished to me and I can’t stop playing it. Btw I really like how they took the best from five and new dawn and found a nice balance.
Far cry 1, 2, 3, 5 showed innovation. Everything else was a minor improvement/unimprovment between releases. Everyone wants to back up Ubisoft's "formula" but in the same breath will tell me that is not like the sports games or Cod that gets pumped out of a machine every year. That's OK, go fork out a full price for what is essentially an Cuban skin update with backpack gadgets.

I played all Farcry except 4 and the first and all games have great graphic quality,long with Payday2 these games have the most beautiful graphics i've ever seen.

Far cry 2 was a masterpiece. Loved that game. The open world was a bit empty, but if you saw a convoi it felt special. Also the fact you got Malaria was awesome, even if it always appeared in the worst moments 🤣 the old weapons with reload problems also a nice detail.. Overall a nice game & my first far cry.

I played every Far cry and I finished Far cry 3 a lot of times and it's my favorite game from the franchise but let's just admit Far cry 6 is very good aswell and you can't decently say "Far cry 3 is better than Far cry 6" if you played both on good setup.

Far Cry 3 is truly the peak of the Far Cry series. I really hope with the next game they try something completely different to move the franchise into a direction that feels new and innovative.

FC3 was my first real favorite game and its amazing how well they whole game is developed. Compared to Cyberpunk, the cars of enemy NPCs will drive around a car that is blocking the road where as Cyberpunk they wont even go around a motorcycle parked on the side of the road that anyone else would just move over a bit to get around but no...the cars in cyberpunk will stop and stay parked forever because of a minor issue and wont go into the next lane over even when no other cars are there. The bullets making a splash in FC 3 (2012) are far superior to cyberpunk. Of course the Crytek engine that made the Crysis series so advanced for its time was used by UBI to make FC3 which was not as advanced as the first Crysis game.
First thing I noticed were how weak the bullet impacts looked in FC6.. especially the explosive round impacts. Not game breaking, but man they looked amazing into the water in FC3, which I think I remember realizing that when I first played FC3 which was 2 yrs after I played FC4. I’m happy with FC6 so far, aside from the broken AI spawn/render distance when you’re not looking their direction. Too many enemies? Drive away till they’re off the minimap and come back.. chances are they’ve left completely or are different areas or more or less than before.

The map was great in Far Cry 4, everyone loved the wingsuit in 3, but it often wasn't very useful, I feel they actually designed the world for the wingsuit in FC4.
There's nothing I want more than a Far Cry 4.2. Loved the hunting, crafting, fortresses, side quests and characters, every bit of that game. 10/10. There is exactly ZERO spiritualism in FC6. No crazy mystery side quests, or mystical characters. Just a plain ass, boring story, un intriguing game. I seriously don't understand how people are enjoying 6. I'm playing it for the free roam and base take overs. Basically the only thing they kept from previous Far Crys. Nothing else in this game feels like Far Cry. No more crafting? No more picking plants/herbs? No more skinning animals? This game turned into open world call of duty with RPG elements. So disappointed. Not every game has to be an RPG! I don't want to have to choose gear to change my skills or abilities. I don't want legendary weapons. I want FAR CRY

Far cry 3 was fun but it obviously has more bugs and doesn’t run as smoothly. I love both and I frequently swap between versions from 2-6 including primal for their unique takes into the series.
wait what ? O.o 3 more bugs than 6 ? dude I'm hardly 6 hours in and I don't think I've seen any game being worse optimized with the exception of maybe some AC titles. Its buggy af from start to finish, theres hardly a single fluid cut scene transition or voice over that isn't completely fucked. 3 wasn't perfect, but in roughly 90h of gametime I've seen less bugs and issues than in these last 6 hours playing farcry 6. Thats not even counting the fact, that the CPU optimization is horrible and loads one core full while others basicly idle, leading to fram drops even on rigs running a 3080 and I9 ...
Far cry 3 is still super in many aspects, like the npc when being run over, the car crashing in trees, or the Molotov cocktail animation. Far cry 6 has better environmental effects but some choices are weird. It feels fake. Like the plan bouncing of the floor at the end… seriously ahah
1:53 for 3 that car is 80’s or 90’s whilst the car here is easily from the 50’s and 60’s the 3 car is most likely made of aluminum or another alloy while the 6 car here is made from steel so it makes sense for it to sink and not float
To be honest, I personally don't care about these small details. The only reason I don't like far cry 6 is coz the story isn't interesting enough and the missions feel repetitive
First clip is IMO your settings \ system [as in: console] you use. From what I've seen over last few days, on PC you do have extra "debris" from the vehicles you blow up.

Great video. I would like to add though that most bottles break in Far Cry 3, either by shooting at them or using a melee weapon. I also wish you would have shot at the tyres when you did the car windows... the vehicles in FC6 are built for battle hence the windscreen is so resistant to bullets compared to the FC3 car which is just a regular civilian one.
too bad that physics and details are the only good things about far cry 2 and before you call me out on that, i've played far cry 2 recently and it aged... poorly
Don't know about that after I finished 6 I tried to play 4 which I didn't finished but looked the same as fc 3 and I graphics were so much worse than in 6 I play on qhd monitor maybe it would be as bad as it was on fhd but in 1440p it really showed its age

Much improved from 5 even though main gameplay loop is the same
Farcry 6 is epic. Graphically, story, characters, , mechanics and all of the new stuff is epic. I’m playing on ps5 and I’m hooked. In my opinion it’s the best farcry game yet. Better than 3.

I'm really enjoying this one seriously ubi, way better than 4 and 5, but there are some unforgivable stuff like the skin shop, the AI and the lack of progression through skills
One of the main things I'm worried about. Lack of skills. The gear is supposed to make up for it, but what if you have a certain build and your clothes look ridiculous? But you cannot change them because it would take away abilities?

Playing Far Cry 3 at 60fps on Series S actually makes them extremely similar in terms of visuals. Kind of nuts actually. Goes to show the effort to detail Ubisoft has always put into Far Cry games. They're all almost timeless.

Everyone keeps complaining about how they never change the formula but the truth is if they changed it the game wouldn’t be far cry anymore I like that each game they add a new environment and plenty of new content this game honestly feels polished to me and I can’t stop playing it. Btw I really like how they took the best from five and new dawn and found a nice balance.
Exactly, it's a formula that works. Games like DOOM 3 taught us that changing an already working formula is not a good idea in the slightest.
But why they keep downgrading the physics. Compare to Far Cry 2, all other Far Cry games are jokes in terms of physics
Far cry 1, 2, 3, 5 showed innovation. Everything else was a minor improvement/unimprovment between releases. Everyone wants to back up Ubisoft's "formula" but in the same breath will tell me that is not like the sports games or Cod that gets pumped out of a machine every year. That's OK, go fork out a full price for what is essentially an Cuban skin update with backpack gadgets.

Far cry 2 was a masterpiece. Loved that game. The open world was a bit empty, but if you saw a convoi it felt special. Also the fact you got Malaria was awesome, even if it always appeared in the worst moments 🤣 the old weapons with reload problems also a nice detail..
Overall a nice game & my first far cry.

I played every Far cry and I finished Far cry 3 a lot of times and it's my favorite game from the franchise but let's just admit Far cry 6 is very good aswell and you can't decently say "Far cry 3 is better than Far cry 6" if you played both on good setup.

FC3 was my first real favorite game and its amazing how well they whole game is developed. Compared to Cyberpunk, the cars of enemy NPCs will drive around a car that is blocking the road where as Cyberpunk they wont even go around a motorcycle parked on the side of the road that anyone else would just move over a bit to get around but no...the cars in cyberpunk will stop and stay parked forever because of a minor issue and wont go into the next lane over even when no other cars are there. The bullets making a splash in FC 3 (2012) are far superior to cyberpunk. Of course the Crytek engine that made the Crysis series so advanced for its time was used by UBI to make FC3 which was not as advanced as the first Crysis game.

First thing I noticed were how weak the bullet impacts looked in FC6.. especially the explosive round impacts. Not game breaking, but man they looked amazing into the water in FC3, which I think I remember realizing that when I first played FC3 which was 2 yrs after I played FC4. I’m happy with FC6 so far, aside from the broken AI spawn/render distance when you’re not looking their direction. Too many enemies? Drive away till they’re off the minimap and come back.. chances are they’ve left completely or are different areas or more or less than before.
Hoping fc6 is optimized on pc. I only have r5 2600 and 2060super. Can't upgrade my pc because of the crazy gpu price haha

The map was great in Far Cry 4, everyone loved the wingsuit in 3, but it often wasn't very useful, I feel they actually designed the world for the wingsuit in FC4.
4 easily had the better graphics than 3 and the world was also quite beautiful in 4.

There's nothing I want more than a Far Cry 4.2. Loved the hunting, crafting, fortresses, side quests and characters, every bit of that game. 10/10. There is exactly ZERO spiritualism in FC6. No crazy mystery side quests, or mystical characters. Just a plain ass, boring story, un intriguing game. I seriously don't understand how people are enjoying 6. I'm playing it for the free roam and base take overs. Basically the only thing they kept from previous Far Crys. Nothing else in this game feels like Far Cry. No more crafting? No more picking plants/herbs? No more skinning animals? This game turned into open world call of duty with RPG elements. So disappointed. Not every game has to be an RPG! I don't want to have to choose gear to change my skills or abilities. I don't want legendary weapons. I want FAR CRY

Far cry 3 was fun but it obviously has more bugs and doesn’t run as smoothly. I love both and I frequently swap between versions from 2-6 including primal for their unique takes into the series.
wait what ? O.o 3 more bugs than 6 ? dude I'm hardly 6 hours in and I don't think I've seen any game being worse optimized with the exception of maybe some AC titles. Its buggy af from start to finish, theres hardly a single fluid cut scene transition or voice over that isn't completely fucked. 3 wasn't perfect, but in roughly 90h of gametime I've seen less bugs and issues than in these last 6 hours playing farcry 6. Thats not even counting the fact, that the CPU optimization is horrible and loads one core full while others basicly idle, leading to fram drops even on rigs running a 3080 and I9 ...

Far cry 3 is still super in many aspects, like the npc when being run over, the car crashing in trees, or the Molotov cocktail animation.
Far cry 6 has better environmental effects but some choices are weird. It feels fake. Like the plan bouncing of the floor at the end… seriously ahah
1:53 for 3 that car is 80’s or 90’s whilst the car here is easily from the 50’s and 60’s the 3 car is most likely made of aluminum or another alloy while the 6 car here is made from steel so it makes sense for it to sink and not float
To be honest, I personally don't care about these small details. The only reason I don't like far cry 6 is coz the story isn't interesting enough and the missions feel repetitive

First clip is IMO your settings \ system [as in: console] you use. From what I've seen over last few days, on PC you do have extra "debris" from the vehicles you blow up.

Great video. I would like to add though that most bottles break in Far Cry 3, either by shooting at them or using a melee weapon. I also wish you would have shot at the tyres when you did the car windows... the vehicles in FC6 are built for battle hence the windscreen is so resistant to bullets compared to the FC3 car which is just a regular civilian one.
Normally cars made for combat have never-flat, or even solid rubber, tires.

And finnaly main character isn't a mute I played new dawn right after finishing 6(need to use that uplay+) and it's was like night and day so. Much improved from 5 even though main gameplay loop is the same
