Give us all a break love. Transparency doesn't cover it. You can't justify accepting all these donations when you had such a pop at the last Government when in opposition. I thought Labour would be cautious given they didn't win but were elected bizaarely with a landslide because of apathy. But nope they have become the most hated govermnent in record time. Zero honeymoon.

Keir Starmer did not declare the gifts at beginning, he only started to declare when he had to stop receiving gifts, when he was found out to have been receiving gifts in the first place. He has received gifts more than most primeministers.
Also scrapping of the Rwanda plan was silly at best because at least the consevatives had a plan even if it wasn't really good. Labour on the other hand didn't have a plan and still don't have a plan to deport illegal or in starmers way irregular immigrants. Even though they say they will and smash the gangs which they are not doing. Because the gangs will find otherways of getting around it.

How do you think people "found out" about the gifts? Because he'd declared them!
The issue is that the Tories actively avoided declaring any gifts if they could help it. Labour come in and follow the rules and declare the gifts and donations and suddenly it's a scandal?
It's sickening watching people get hoodwinked by this blatant Tory press rubbish. Starmer gets a box seat for Arsenal but don't look at Robert Jenrick receiving £100,000 from an umbrella corporation with no known owners or address.

My father didn't need it to be honest but he worked hard all his life and paid into the system, took nothing out and the government took its cut when he died too. There was a social contract and it was a universal benefit - possibly it should have been means tested at its introduction. If you're a billionaire of course you don't need it but as a universal benefit it was something everyone got back. Where do these people think the money comes from? There's an argument about the young vs the old who are a much larger group with baby boomers and where taxes go but for the most part these people have paid in and we have a duty to them. Why we spaff billions overseas and on people who have never paid in to the system I don't understand - young and old are like what the heck we can't give the pensioners their fuel allowance but spend billions on foreigners who are mostly chancers.

Why do MP`s who earn vastly more than the general population need free stuff? If someone gives you free stuff, what do they get? I`m sure it's not just satisfaction. A pensioner who earns less than 4 pairs of Kiers glasses have their winter fuel benefits cut ? Well if that's the case pay for your own glasses, clothes and Football tickets Kier! If no gifts can be given then we know MP`s are not being bought. That makes it crystal clear! Quick tip to ALL Mp`s, the public are not stupid enough to not realise that the "gifts! are buying influence.

Surprise susprise, the politicians who are receiving lavish gifts think it's perfectly acceptable for politicians to receive gifts.
Seriously, how do you explain that?!

When in opposition, Corbyn actually blocked Starmer from taking on a second job. His crazy view was that an MPs salary should be enough. Incidentally, I wonder why the media has been silent over Corbyn's key role in campigning for and assisting the election of the Mexican president, Claudia Scheinbaum, the first Jewish president of Mexico.

Our politics is all about who's the most right. Which leads to nothing happening. We just don't ever concentrate on what we can all agree with and then work it out from there. When you always start at the most disagreeable points no compromise can be found. Where if you start from where everyone agrees on the most basic of needs, you suddenly find so many things that you all agree with that take so small, acceptable differences that you can easily find common ground.
There will always be some differences that will always cause anger and hypocrisy but their statistics will always start with nought point...........

Regarding immigration, there is an optimum number of people that can be successfully integrated. Too many and enclaves are formed. Before Mr.Blair had postal voting in mind, there was a more optimal number of people arriving to easily integrate.
