- I was surprised with what I saw at my local PetCo (and PerSmart directly across the street) during a recent visit accompanied by my granddaughter River.

I've grown a lot more to the PetCo side because in my experience, they have accepted online prices inside their store, along with online discounts, which is great! PetSmart has never done that for me (online only price) and weren't as helpful or knowledgeable. But to each their own and could be staff related as well. Thanks for the upload!

That's a great looking flowerhorn for that price! Most of these pet store flowerhorns used to be the throwaway fish from breeders because they lacked in color. That one certainly does not! I bought one at the same price years ago, and it turned out to be such a great pet fish. Unfortunately, after about 3 years or so, I lost him to a swim bladder issue that I could not solve. I would pick up that one in a heartbeat for 13 bucks, though!

Best looking petsmart I have seen. The ones I have been to do not come close
I'm a goldfish hobbyist and to be honest the fancy goldfish have been far and few between lately. I don't know if it had to do with catching up from the pandemic, I know one of the associates at Petsmart said the cold weather was a factor in shipping. I go between Petco and Petsmart.
I am seeing some fancy goldfish, maybe I'm just picky.

Here in the area I live we have the petsmart store
they do a good job keeping the animals healthy
& not too bad on the prices, as well as the help.
I believe Petco and Petland are improving because of competition with online sales. Your granddaughter seems to get more adorable with every video. God bless enjoy her.

Petland is like a local fish store for me, they take fish and actually care about the fish, they order in fish and everything. That have massive snake enclosures and they don’t sell a tank under 10gallons

The only really good fish source in Kentucky is Sandy’s in Louisville, I’m going to have to bite the bullet and drive to Nashville one day. Your stores are head and shoulders better than anything we have in south-central Kentucky.
I love that they give you 30 days on fish.
At least the tag says 125 gallon tank and 24" maximum size for the bichir. :)
Petsmart had a good black friday sale on fluval filters
I’m jealous the 3 Petsmart in my area are hit or miss. 2 of them let their tanks go. Dirty and full of snails. The 3rd is ok. The petco is decent but they don’t have a big selection.
I've concluded that it comes down to the manager at each store. Some obviously love fish, others couldn't care less.

I also made a video about how bad my local petco was .. a few weeks later it’s one of the best fish stores in the area. Now it’s clean, organized,, and has a guy that has a lot of knowledge.. they also now have salt water fish and corals
Yo yo loaches love to "lay down" on the tank bottom and go to sleep. It'll freak you out at first because you think something is wrong.. nope they just lay on their side and sleep like a baby😂
Clowns do that do. Sometimes they lay on top of each other. Loaches are the clowns of the fresh water world IMO.
I like petco is because i have aqueon 10 gallon tank , lights, natural gravel, silk plants. hang on back filter, background and aquarium heater and my tropical fish

I kind of lean towards PetSmart the new petco nothing much to offer very small store .. PetSmart does run sales on the FX sometimes got good deal on my FX 6 300.00

I recently Bought a 4 inch Malawi gar And it looks just like yours did at that young age.
But mine does not have egg spots on the anal fin Do you think mine is a female?
Is it a lot like the peacocks where the males have the egg spots
