      I bought this camera yesterday for my grandson who is a beginner. The camera seemed too complicated for me to teach him how to use his camera. I was about to return it. But after watching this video and using it to teach him how to use it, we decided to keep it. You’re a great teacher. Thank you.

      is it worth it? Or would you recommend a digital one?

    • @ViperXXXXXXX

      It is a digital camera. The difference between this and the type of digital camera you're probably talking about is that it's a single lens reflex camera, which allows for more lenses and much more versatility. It's the better of the cameras in this price range, better features than the t7i but not worth the upgrade if you have a t7 already or similar camera.

    I am getting mine tomorrow and found this video incredibly helpful. I will receive the camera and know how to set it up and how to use it. Brilliant. Brilliant tutorial. not patronising, helpful, engaging and easy to follow. Explains all of the main features of the camera and how they can be best used. Thank you.

    Your videos are unbelievably high quality and super useful for a photo newbie like me. I’ve slowly become more and more interested in photography over the past year and this video couldn’t have been more helpful - been having a blast with the T8i as my first camera. I’ve been watching all your recent vids, it’s fascinating to listen to someone talk about one topic in detail when they have such knowledge and passion. Keep up the great work.

    My T8i is on the way. It looks like a huge step up from my Canon D20! My D20 is scratched, dinged, faded, banged, paint is scratched off and over 14K shutters. But the thing still works and takes good photos (low ISO). No video though, it's time to upgrade.The D90 was a little pricey and I'm a hobbyist, occasional for hire for friends and fam.

    Thanks a lot! *Question:* at the beginning, you mention that we should get rid of the "kit lens" if it came with it... However, I've seen that there are many different kits and their lenses... So, what "kit lens" are you referring to? Can you please just mention what's written on it, as a reference? Thanks again!

    • @mycologyqueer
      @mycologyqueer 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually canon lenses come with a pretty base level 18-55 (or that along with a 75-300), but the exact lens isn't the issue. Kit lenses that come with canons never have their best processors (they include entry level ones), so basically any lens that comes with the body is going to be lower quality, regardless of the specific model.
