Lulu is gorgeous! So happy she found a wonderful home. Our little guy will be one year old next month and I can’t believe we are here! Your videos have been so helpful. We are still struggling a bit with potty training. We are doing the bell method and taking him out often, but he will still pee on the carpet. We have blocked them off from all carpet in our house and he is doing better.
It’s a great idea to block his access to carpet until he’s showing improvement! He’ll get there. He’s still a growing boy at 1 year! You’re doing great.

Recently I moved his crate to the pad area and haven’t had an incident yet 🤞I just have to pay attention to his cues to go out.
I'm not sure how the 2 dogs met It's important to introduce dogs for the first time outside of the house The front yard would be a good idea After they meet put a leash on both dogs and walk around the block👍👍
They did meet outside :) neutral space. Eventually we had to come inside because of the weather even though Lulu wasn’t thrilled. It got better though as you can see!
Potty training is the hardest right now! I have a 14 week old gal. There’s no great way to keep her gated into one area of the house because of the layout of our house which is also small. You’re right about sometimes getting it and then sometimes just refusing to go outside for whatever reason and going inside immediately after coming in. It’s frustrating! Can you make a video on puppy biting? I’ve tried all the other ways they say to get it to stop or calm down, and my Lucy just seems to retaliate and do it more when we try and get her to stop. Is it just something we have to put up with until she’s older?
Congratulations! Beautiful girl. Our Havanese looks very similar to LuLu shes 11 months a black brindle. Her hair is changing, it now has much more white. When did Pistachio's hair complete the color change?
It was a very slow process with P, and honestly I think she’s still slowly getting lighter! She just turned 2 years old. We could really notice a difference between 6 months and 1 year old though.

We have been considering getting one of his litter mates as well, but not quite sure if we can handle two puppies at the same time. We are definitely going to get another Havanese in the future so this is why we are considering getting two now. Looking for some pros and cons on having two pups at the same time. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. BTW, the breeder is AMAZING!
So glad you found a great breeder! To start, I’d research “litter mate syndrome”. I can tell you from my brother’s experience raising two havanese puppies at the same time that it’s hard, hard work. It’s not impossible, but you need a lot of time and patience on your hands. For my brother, the two puppies would copy each others bad habits and it made training progress hard at times. The major pro in my book is your puppy has a friend from day 1. So it’s up to you and what you’re comfortable with, but be prepared!
