Yeah Nadal takes part in 5 matches that are easily top 10 matches in tennis history by any body's book:
      Nadal vs Federer 2008 Wimbledon.
      Nadal vs Verdasco 2009 AO
      Nadal vs Djokovic 2012 AO
      Nadal vs Djokovic 2018 Wimbledon
Nadal vs Djokovic 2013 Roland Garros.
He's easily the best player in bringing intensity and drama to tennis matches, and also doesn't hurt that he's the GOAT now that he equaled the Grand slam record. Nadal is a once in a lifetime sportsman.

I got a ticket to centre court for this match! My first time at Wimbledon. Was hoping to see Federer but he was moved to Court One and I ended up seeing this which ended up being one of the greatest five setters I've ever seen. Nadal had always been great on grass. That's why he made to the final of every Wimbledon tournament he entered from 2006-2011, and won the title twice. It's just that after 2011, he had a run of bad luck at the at Wimbledon.

Nadal chained 5 straight finals in his young days winning 2. First 3 against Prime Federer, of which he won the last one, and last one against Prime Djokovic.
He's missed some years because of injury (he won in 2008 and 2010 but skipped 2009). He had a draught for 5 years or so, but last three times he's reached the SF: in 2018 playing arguably better than Djokovic, in 2019 playing great against Federer and in 2022 having to withdraw due to injury.
Nadal was considered in 2012 already top 10 grass players of all time.

I always gets this sense of feeling that nadal matches are always interesting to watch unlike fed and djoker because their wins seems convincing , but nadal may be because of his inability to close out matches or because of his serve - he takes matches to the last set and makes it interesting . He makes his fans and tennis fans to watch the match curiously.

Man Delpo had so many BPs that he could have converted in that final set. Real shame he had to lose. But in the end, only one man can win that day.

It’s weird to see barely nobody mentions the state of the delpo’s backhand which is almost non existing due to injury.
With only forehand and a 50% backhand he managed to take it to fifth set speaks volumes.
